First impression, pretty sweet bag. I’m a “newbie” prepper so this is my first tactical emergency bag. As someone with children, I’m working my way to being as prepared as humanly possible for just about anything. This bag is nice, seems sturdy and was packaged nicely with all the material inside. NOTE: My bag arrived with metal tweezers vs the blue plastic ones in the photo, WIN! and the rain coats are orange instead of blue and the knife is black bs the grey in the seller image. I guess it varies. There is a lot more room to add additional things which I will make use of. The first aid kit is decent but I will also add a few things to it. The gloves are great if you’re someone with big hands, they’re too big for me so I’ll have to of course add my own. The cordage is decent, doesn’t feel super heavy duty but will be useful. The radio arrived working, we’ll see how it goes. Also, the rations aren’t written in english, mines is written in chinese and package feels hard as heck 👀 - the water is great for five years as it expires in 2024 so as of today the water is only a month old which is great! Overall, everything is great and I’m excited about customizing the bag. Will likely purchase another in the near future.UPDATE: I opened the rations to give it a taste. Good. It reminds me of a thick sugar cookie or those cookies you see in the blue can during the holidays lol - only with both a very light taste and smell of lemon. They are individually packaged which is GREAT! I thought they would have been left to spoil if I didn’t eat them all so I was happy to see that. It comes in 3 blocks of 3 so 9 total in case you ever have to share.Hopefully the photos I shared help! 🙂

I'm glad I opened it and went through the whole thing. About 5 of the water bags had popped and the ziplock bag was not closed. Some water had leaked out in the bag and some of the contents were wet. The bag had been packed recently and the water was dated Sept 2024 so I figured it happened during shipping. If it wasnt for having to empty out the entire contents of the main compartment to lay it out and dry it all, it would have been 5 stars.

We live in a world where hard working citizens of the greatest nation on earth Ol’ U.S of A have to prepare for the end of the world as we know it. As a veteran my training kicked in and more than likely I will continue to prepare to survive for my family and I for the rest of my life instead of living my life in peace, love and happiness, ridiculous right? 🤦♂️. Nonetheless I needed equipment and I have been out the Corps for so long I forgot what I need, I already have “Bang Bang” equipment but I needed equipment for my wife and kids. As a Husband and Father I have blessing and curse to protect my most precious cargo. This is a basic survival pack, that is full of items needed to grab and go, and not filled with a bunch of stupid crap, in addition it took me back to the USMC by reminding me about equipment needed in the field. This pack which is equivalent to a Military standard “Molle Pack” seems sturdy and reliable obviously not what I was issued in the military but will suffice. Most of the equipment is solid, the compass is a ok, it will work nonetheless, but I prefer a compass I used in the military. I will replace the radio/USB charger, it seems ok and should keep you powered up but feels like it will not hold up. The water and food I trust, it’s sealed but I will add MRE’s to increase from 72 to a 120 hour pack. “umm good MRE’s” I will add canteens, more to the the medical kit but the one that came with it will suffice, the pack will need more aqua tabs, the tools are relatively basic, they will work but from my perspective if this is all you have eventually they will fall apart. I will upgrade the multi tool and knife; what is provided will stay in the pack for redundancy but better tools will be needed as well as a “E-Tool” and Axe but if all you had were the contents this pack you will be good to go but as a veteran, this took me back to what I needed in field I recommend this bug out bag to anyone that is preparing for when things start to suck. Will buy again, Semper Fi! “Keep your feet wet and powder dry” I wish for peace and love but will be prepared for the worse.

As others suggested, as soon as it was delivered, I checked the contents. All items were included and the water was in good condition. Items were nice and gives you a really good start of essentials for emergency situations. I will be adding a more extensive first aid kit, batteries, and other supplies. It does have a good weight to it but it's a 2 person survival kit and water has weight. Im satisfied with my purchase.
