I have a Brother SE400 and I purchased this because I thought it would be helpful when working on some of my projects. It is fairly easy to install and I tend to put it on and leave it on, but it's not a miracle worker for helping some fabrics "walk through" as I had hoped.

I got this after returning another one like it for my brother sewing machine. I sew with minky fabric and wanted to try walking foot to help fabric stay together. This has made a huge difference in result. The finished piece is more even. Installation is simple and I wish I had purchased it much sooner but I was scared to try walking foot. It turns out it's another foot. This is a must for anyone who likes to sew. I highly recommend it especially for the price.

I've purchased 4 over the last 2 years, one of which lasted me most of that time. It came with a Brother box and a Brother plastic mechanism cover. I used it daily with zero issues until it just... broke apart completely one day. That's okay, it had a long run. I purchased one to replace it, but it didn't have the same mechanism cover or Brother logo. I tried another brand that didn't work. Within a month or so, the bottom of the foot shifted to be right in the needle's strike path, and it broke my needle into a billion pieces, and ripped the bottom of the foot off. That was scary but I didn't get hurt. I gave it one more chance and ordered 2 more - I use them every day, I wanted to have a replacement on hand in case something happened. It could have been a bad batch of product?Well, the same thing happened last night, the bottom of the foot shifted into the needle strike path and shattered the needle into a billion pieces but this time it hit my eye and embedded some needle into my eyelid. The fourth and final foot, which I will not be using, rests about a human hair away from the needle and will undoubtedly break. If you care about having eyes, maybe skip this foot.

Used it to stitch alterations my thin goatskin leather jacket. Works great

I was upset that my singer heavy duty 4452’s original singer walking foot did not accommodate a seam guide. This Yeqin walking foot fits my machine and works very well and has a seam guide. It’s easy to put onto the machine and works perfectly for quilting through layers of fabric and batting. It has a higher clearance than the original singer walking foot so it’s easier to fit thicker layers under it.
