I originally had this model years ago and loved it, but after losing it in a move I tried a cheaper replacement. Big mistake. The cheaper one just blasted out steam all at once with no control and only had an on/off switch. This steamer is completely different. The trigger lets you release steam only when you need it, so there’s less wasted water. You can set it down, walk away, and when you come back it’s still ready to go. The wider steam plate covers more fabric at once, which means clothes get wrinkle-free faster and with less effort. If you want something reliable, efficient, and easy to use, this is the one.

Is it going to really iron your stuff where this shore can be over? NO.. that's the case with all steamers, I had several more expensive ones that found there ways to the garbage after a year or so of use (the toby, the shark) .. I was happy with the shark for almost a year but it suddenly started to malfunction and almost scorched my hand, as steam started to come from the handle direction (never stored it w water in the reservoir light use like once every 2 weeks) The Toby with the fancy wheels and the rod to put on the hanger was that bulky and suddenly played dead after a 2 year very light use as well. . So no more fancy ones.. So I got this much cheaper but well reviewed Conair. as Advertised , the reservoir does not need much refilling (unlike my previous shark), mists very nicely.. takes out (just like other steamers) the light wrinkles from the occasional washes or badly packed items in a few seconds, and safe to use on delicate items . Also light on my wrists.. easy to fill.. It doesn't come w the door pad that Shark provides to anchor your garments using any door, but that is an easy fix. A big towel with a couple of rubber bands on each corner can become the door pad, A plastic over the door hanger hanger can be used to place your garment hanger and your are in business.. I don't know if it will suddenly die after the year is done.. But even if it does, for the convenience of having a much lighter one to use, the price, the very efficient yet small tank .. I still would buy it again.

I waited a little to write this review since I wanted to have used it for a while to see if I really liked it. I had used the conair turbo extreme steam before, the one that now costs around $70-$80 bucks, and was thinking of purchasing it again but we had bought it for around $40 just a few years ago, also I didnt want a normal iron since it would involve buying and taking up storage space for an ironing board too, so I continued to search and read a ton of reviews on several steamers when we stumbled upon this one on sale for $26, I am SO glad we made this purchase. It works just as good, heats up in minutes, puts out more than enough steam at a good temperature, wrinkles just dissapear on all kinds of clothing, it holds about the same water, and its not heavy to hold at all, I dont mind that it doesnt stand upright by itself since I can lay it on its side when i need to turn a garment over or whatever, I loooove the feature that lets me have continous steam so no more hurting my fingers from pressing a button for a while when steaming several items. Its very easy to use and set up, I like that its lightweight, it has a tiny spout for the water but I find it pretty easy to fill and empty the reservoir, and takes up very little space when not in use, so far, very happy with the quality and overall use of this product, would recomend!
