This unit is small and not really packed with a lot of power but it does the job well. We set it up on our outside porch and it definitely caught night critters! I think a higher wattage would work better but this does the job for now. Affordable and lightweight! I would recommend it, you can actually hear the pops when a critter runs into the grid so I know it works!

We have many mosquitoes flying in our backyard. My daughter refuses to come out whenever the mosquitoes are around. She had a horrifying experience in the past overcome by the blood sucking mini vampires. Upon receiving this zapper, I plug it in the wall outlet at once. After 15 minutes, the first mosquito was captured. It produced a loud zapping sound. One by one in the next few hours, we heard a dozen times of zapping took place. We began counting each mosquitoes that were killed. Needless to say, my daughter felt more comfortable staying in the backyard now. We live next to a pond drain and the water is stagnant. This product has greatly improved our life. I only wish the electric cord is slightly longer. Otherwise, it is a decent product to keep around.7/4 update, we suspect a bee hive inside the crawl space. The small bees are flying in and out of the screen outside the house near the foundation. We put the zapper directly in front of the screen. With a few minutes, we heard the zapping. It went on for a few hours and the bees are gone. My husband is very satisfied with this product. A must have item in our household.

This product was surprisingly handsome and sturdy! It is modern in it's design and the grain makes it more of a decoration than an ugly bug zapper. Also, the entry points are small enough to keep out lizards and frogs, so they can live to see another day. I purchased many zappers over the years, usually the same brand that is now super expensive. I elected for this item because of the price and was very delighted. Seller shipped it immediately and I received in 2 days. I highly recommend it!

We have a lot of flies around our back porch and its a bother while we have our Sunday meals outside. This took care our our little problem. It is made well and very easy to set up and clean. This bug zapper was bigger than I expected which is a plus! We also love the look of it as well, it goes nicely with our outdoor decor.
