This is a cute little suitcase. Nice interior and handy outside pocket. It’s a great size for a carryon. The handle and zippers have worked well for us on 2 trips and appear durable. I would really like to get this 5 stars, but the wheels do not roll straight. My hand and wrist were strained keeping it rolling on a trek through JFK airport. It literally spun in circles as I walked unless I pulled it straight. It was pretty tiring after a long walk to the gate. We ordered replacements (we had 2), but they all did the same thing. We kept the ones that did it the least, because it still seems like a good value and we don’t often have a super long walk. They are great weekend bags as well.

I purchased this set of luggage after my large hard shell suitcase lost a wheel, along with a chunk of the suitcase as well, on a recent trip. The wheel had caught on a bumpy threshold at the sliding door entry to the terminal -and it tore completely off when I coaxed the bag toward me. I decided after that that I wanted to replace this bag with both a second carry on bag as well as a mid-sized bag. After looking at many options and reading many many reviews on the pros and cons of hard vs. soft shell and the different wheel options, I decided to go back to a softer shell for durability. As I searched bag options, several bag sets (ones with a carry on and a large bag, and ones with all three sizes caught my interest. The Amazon Basics bags were highly rated both on Amazon as well as by some independent reviewers as durable and affordable. I really like that the three bags nest, as storage is an issue in our old house, and I am happy to have the two sized bags I wanted for most trips, plus a bonus large bag for a trip when that might be needed. I have tested them all in the house. Handles work well in several positions and the wheels seem to work well also. There is ample room for packing, especially with my new set of packing cubes. Zippers seem to run smoothly. I am looking forward to using the carry on bag and the mid-sized bag this coming week on a trip to Florida. I'm hoping they'll be as sturdy and problem free as most reviewers reported. I will update this review after my return in two weeks. By the way, the color (purple) is great!

We went to 3 countries in Europe in 2019, flying on 4 different airlines. Before leaving, I was concerned to have a piece of luggage that would not only travel the airlines well, but would fit in the smaller European cars/taxis. The Spinner was sturdy and withstood the trip well without tearing, breaking, etc. It returned in as good condition as when it left. It was very easy to maneuver; I love the spinner wheels. The adjustable handle was a good height and was easy to operate. I especially loved the handle at the bottom of the case. Someone was a genius for engineering that. Why, you wonder? When you pick the suitcase up to lay flat on the bed, or put in a trunk, or any sort of handling, you grip the non-adjustable handle at the top with one hand and then grab on to the handle at the bottom of the suitcase for complete balanced control. Loved it! The case is not heavy and fit well in cars and on the stands in the smaller European hotel rooms. In the past, I hated traveling leaving my case unlocked, so I felt much better having the TSA locks. I saw the info online on how to set the lock before I ordered it, and I was happy to see those instructions included with my suitcase when it arrived. I packed a week's worth of clothes in my 25", washing once at each hotel, and was able to pack some small souvenirs for the return trip. I'm very happy with the suitcase and have absolutely nothing negative to say. After our return, I used it for a stateside trip the following month with just as good results. One caveat: This says it is an expandable case. Placed horizontally, there is a zipper around the top to expand the case, but it essentially gives you an extra 1" to 1.5" height at the zipper, but not through the center. I was going to take a photo but there's no way to show it.

This Amazon Basics carry-on suitcase is a solid choice for travelers looking for an affordable and durable carry-on option. With its lightweight design and 360-degree spinner wheels, this suitcase is easy to maneuver through busy airports and narrow aisles. The built-in TSA-approved lock ensures that your belongings are safe and secure during travel. The lock is easy to set and provides peace of mind knowing that your items are protected. One of the only downsides to this suitcase is its lack of internal organization features. It has a single large compartment with two zippered pockets and a compression strap. While this is sufficient for many travelers, those who require more organization may need to consider additional packing cubes or accessories.Overall, this suitcase is an excellent choice for travelers who want a reliable and affordable carry-on suitcase. Its durable design, expandable space, and TSA-approved lock make it a practical option for any trip.
