I like using this paring knife for cutting thick, or tough skin items such as Tomato's, Cucumbers, Oranges, Limes, Lemons and also for cutting grill cheese sandwiches. Lightweight, sharp - did I mention sharp?! I like it so much, I ordered the plain edge one for coring strawberry's, slicing cheese, slicing celery. Now, you might think that the serrated edge would be best for that, but nope. The celery has fibers running all the way through it and so the serrated edge catches just a bit on them making it slightly harder to slice through then using a straight edge paring knife. I ordered the four inch version(s) so it can double as a steak knife, however the 3.25 ones are excellent as well. They also come in a rounded edge if you want a knife that doubles as a cheese or butter spreader. No, I don't work for the company, I just like a well made, inexpensive (no, not cheap) functional knife.

This knife is not expensive, it's VERY SHARP, it's VERY EASY TO HOLD AND MANEUVER, and, with the bright red handle, easy to FIND! It is now my "go-to" knife for all the little slicing, dicing, paring, etc that I do. I absolutely LOVE this knife. If it ever gets dull, I won't mind spending another $10 for another one just like it!

This is a great all around serrated knife. Small enough for a womans hand, sharp, cuts through easily. I use it to cut fruit & vegetables and it does it with ease.

Best paring knife ever - serrated or straight!!! Slicing tomatoes was a breeze. Light as a feather and solid. Easy to maneuver. And ONLY $10! Sliced like a more expensive knife. Very pleased.
