This doesn’t actually latch or catch anything. It only blocks a door from swinging in one direction. Buyer beware.

These are well made and definitely do the job in the RV Van conversion I am doing. But the the piece that forms the stop for the rotation of the the latch was not always properly located so that the latch does not go totally vertical when in the latched position nor horizontal when open. It does not affect their functioning which works well but still not as they should be. Of the 15 latches I have, three were like this to one degree or another.
