This book is an idea of a five-star rating. I appreciate how it aligns with God's vision and structure for women. It guides you through various phases with relatable examples and types of women in society. For me, this has been a refresher, and I gained new insights into embracing and healing my feminine energy. I come from a long lineage of strong, independent women who embrace their masculine energy. I have been determined to break this cycle now in my 50s. I desire to cultivate my femininity, and this book has been a valuable resource. I highly recommend it to other Black women and all women alike who have witnessed similar role models in their families. I'm excited to continue with the second book and look forward to finishing with the third.

My talking points and takeaways from the book:First of all, the book is written in a very structured way. Each chapter touches on the basics of the feminine energy, in such a way that is empathetic to the modern day plights that women have to go through, and what they have been through.Second, this book could potentially ruffle the feathers of some people who have a feminist-point of view. But I think that reaction is not warranted as you can tell that this is not the aim. And if this book triggers you, then it may actually be the perfect motivation to dig deep into why it has that effect.Third, the book contains actual exercises or real-life tasks for you to do. This is amazing because it takes the book from being just a ‘book’ to being a ‘course’ or even like some sort of guide.Fourth, my favorite chapter was the one about processing your past. So many of us repress certain traumatic memories that express themselves in ugly ways. This probably was the biggest thing and I think that this is the major benefit that a person will get from the book because you cannot be in your feminine energy if you don’t fix this.Fifth, following on from the last point, this book is great for a beginner learning about feminine energy or someone who feels like they are mainly in their masculine and they want to finally let that go. Before nurturing your feminine energy, you have to heal it.Lastly, the book is a shorter than a lot of similar books out there (around 90 pages). This is good or bad depending on your taste. But the author noted that this was intentional so that the book could be properly digested (and that the exercises were followed). Since this is a book series, you have to get the other volumes to learn more but I don’t think they’re all out yet. One criticism is that maybe each chapter could’ve been longer though. That would’ve made it perfect.Overall, highly recommend getting the book. If you read it with an open mind and you actually do the exercises in the book, I can’t see why it won’t significantly benefit you.
