The basic information of my home: single family house, nearly 2900 sqft, two floorsBefore using Reyee routers: one modem router was placed in the northwest corner of the second floor. So the Wifi signal was so weak southeast bedroom in the second floor. Please refer to the second picture of Wifi signal testing. And the southwest corner of living room in the first floor also experienced the similar issue, referring to the third picture of Wifi signal testing.After building up a mesh coverage with Reyee routers: placing one router in the northwest corner on the second floor and the southeast corner on the first floor, the Wifi signal improves dramatically! Please refer to the last two photos of Wifi signal testing.The installment is pretty easy and the customer support is helpful. Highly recommend!!

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I bought 2 and then decided to buy 2 more. There does exist an opportunity for improvement in the area of providing a clear set of instructions for the novice to mid-level non-techie DIY customer. I felt a bit abandoned when attempting to install the routers myself using the instructions due to the language used. For example, my ISP provides a "gateway" and the instructions were a bit vague when distinguishing between the unit my ISP provided and the Reyee unit I was trying to install. However, because I had the same thing happen with a few other manufacturers who assumed that their customers have tech backgrounds, I knew to contact customer service for a live person who could help me. My strategy worked. Once I made contact with a representative the remaining steps were much easier as I can follow clear instructions. The units have been installed for a couple of weeks now and they perform as advertised. I now have a total mesh system with 4 of these units in my house. I'm loving life in the wireless world now. Clear and concise instructions were all that prevented a 5 star rating.
