Overall this is a quality product, well made and very sharp. However, if you’re cursed with thick toenails this is not for you. The toenail clippers jaw doesn’t open wide enough to accommodate them,

I literally opened & used them on my front porch after their speedy arrival😄My handicaps and gradually thickening toe nails have made it impossible to do my own nails for too long.These were just rounded, strong and smoothly working as I could wish!

I purchased this clipper set first for a friend she wanted a quality set of clippers and found it hard to get a good set. After her rave review I decided to get them for myself and I must say they are a superior clipper to anything I've ever used. First off the materials are first rate . They feel heavy in hand like a fine medical instrument should feel like, them the actual clipping is on a different level. They are SHARP!!! As in my header of this review it feels like they are power assisted. I never had to pay too much attention to the act of cutting my nails but with these clippers you need to be very precise in your placement because these clippers will cut so cleanly thru skin next thing you know your bleeding.These are the best clippers you'll ever buy manicured hands down.Pun intended.

These are sturdy in how they are made , heavy duty compared to conventional ones in stores. They did slip a bit while using (I have weak hands) and are very sharp (as I was forewarned) and this must be considered carefully while you’re working to do elderly nails.

I almost didn't get these because one of the reviews said the cutting edge was smaller than normal clippers. I'm glad I did. The cutting edge is actually slightly bigger than normal nail clippers (see pictures for comparison).The file is just as bad as on regular clippers and is roughly the same size. They'll work in a pinch but, if you use a file at all, do yourself a favor and just keep an emery board next to your clippers.For cutting nails, I absolutely love these things. They're sharper, more comfortable to use, sturdier and have more leverage than any clippers I've used in the past 40 years. They cut through nails very easily by comparison. For wide nails that require more than one cut the fact that these cut so easily makes it much easier to trim evenly reducing the need to file them afterwards.I really like these.
