It's just a toilet roll holder and I've only photographed it to show a comparison with what was in its place previously. This item is matte black with a sort of powdery feel. The arm is fixed in position, just in case that's unclear.In a nutshell, this was just what I wanted. I'm not drilling holes in my tiles, so for years I've had the suction cup holder I've shown. From time to time (always in the middle of the night) the old one falls off the wall with a clatter that has me running from room to room with a bat to see what the commotion was.Hopefully this one doesn't do that. I put it up and gave it 24 hours before putting any weight on it. After a day I can say it feels sturdy enough to hold anything small enough to go on the shelf.
