We did have an issue getting wifi to work but it was resolved. I would suggest anyone having a similar issue follow this on their router settings: turn off the Enable SSID Broadcast for 5GHz and keep it only for 2.4GHz. What happens is the transformer may be looking to connect via wifi and be tripped up by 5GHz SSID broadcasting. This doesn't mean you have to keep 5GHz off forever but just before you do the installation. If you have a mesh wifi system this is especially an issue with devices such as this transformer.

Took minutes to install and set up. Showed up in Alexa straight away. App was easy to use, but I created an Alexa routine to turn on/off at sunset and sunrise. Having two switches is going to be useful when I extend.

Great transformer. I love the fact that all the connections are inside the box rather than being exposed to the weather. The bracket that holds it up is removable, making it easy to set the mounting bolts and then attaching the bracket to the back of the transformer.My nits are about the app. First, the instructions tell you to setup a wall switch device. That’s minor. The bigger issue is that programming it isn’t intuitive. To program it to turn on at dusk and off at sunset, you go into the “Create Scene” and select “When the weather changes”. From there, you select “Sunset/Sunrise”. I’ve never consider those weather but rather times of day. And kept looking for them there.Other than that, I’m pretty impressed. The case latch is spring loaded to keep it closed tight. The instructions are reasonably clear, and it’s priced well for the Wattage it can put out.

This works great! We have the smart life app controlling other outdoor smart plugs. This works perfectly in the app. Especially useful are the two zones. I had no problem with Wi-Fi setup, even after unplugging. Setup is a breeze. Nice high quality design and materials.

I purchased this item even though it had no reviews at the time, the selling points are 300 watts, 2 zones, integral wifi and the price ($119). I have had the unit running for about 2 weeks so I can't comment on the durability.Installing it was easy, the two channels are helpful to control 2 zones, in my case the front and back yard lighting. Each zone has both 12v nd 15v connections and can be operated independently via the app or by the switches on the transformer. I mounted the unit on an exterior wall and the unit connected flawlessly to my wifi AP located about 30 feet away and inside my home. The Alexa integration works well and with little lag time. With Alexa, I scheduled the unit to turn the lights on 15 minutes before sunset and off at 1:00 am, there have been no issues with it operating that way. The unit appears to be well made and I am happy with the purchase, I'll update this review if I have any issues with the product.
