Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition - Nintendo Switch

I pre-ordered this over a year ago when it first became available, so when it finally came out I was thrilled.I will say the graphics are not great. The characters' hair in particular is almost painful to look at. I also just made it to Hogsmeade and noticed that when you enter any building, a loading screen pops up. I understand the loading screen for entering/exiting Hogsmeade, but confused why each and every tiny building needs it when classrooms are fine at Hogwarts.But every thing else seems great so far. Really enjoying this!

Don’t even think about it! ⚡️Just buy the game! You won’t regret it. I’ve never been a video game player but I bought a switch to play games with my nieces and nephews but this game is all aunties! It’s absolutely magical and at times just breathtaking. One can only imagine the countless hours of love poured into this game.

I grew up watching the Harry Potter movies and reading the Harry Potter books. I was very excited about this video game when it came out and purchased it on my PS5 initially. My children all have their own handheld switches. We were excited when the switch version of this game came out so that my oldest child could play as well. It's just as good as the PS5 version and the game itself is pretty fun. Now for the actual gameplay critiques, I wasn't a big fan of the fact that a deviated from some of the Harry Potter world. I didn't like that you could go out at night and nothing would happen, you wouldn't get in trouble if you will. I felt that there wasn't enough thought into differences between characters if you chose one house or another. Also the items and clothing were kind of lacking. However the game was super nostalgic, very good looking, and I enjoyed a lot of the characters that your character runs into. I would suggest this game to anyone who enjoyed the Harry Potter world.

This game is fun, but I can see why hard core gamers don't like this. It's not the best quality on the Nintendo Switch. There is delayed loading and the background gets laggy and pixelated. I like the open world concept. If you're a HP fan and liked Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild, you'll like this.
