I have been using this as a battery maintainer on my car I don't drive very often and it works really well. It is easy to connect to the battery and the form factor is nice to keep it in the car bay.

Not the strongest charge but it'll do for some batteries that are not dead for a while or just standard recharge a battery. I cannot be plugged in and charging a battery at the same time, Must be fully charged before use.

Agm batteries can't be charged over 14.5 volts that's charging volts. This charger works great but took my xs and shuriken batteries way over 13 volts on the rest cycle. Tryed to call company its hard to get the right answer but it works to the green light. I wanted a cheaper price it said agm. I'm going to a snap on go with the better one. Agm batteries are not cheap for stereo use. I put a voltage meter on it got 16.2 volts on the high stage of the automatic cycle not good. My 250 amp alternator stays at 14.4 volts.

I bought this to help me keep my Motorcycle battery charged. The 8 Amp charger I had would say the battery was charged but the bike would barely start. I Connected this charger up and let it charge, after the light turned green to say it was charged, the bike was easy to start and the battery really did have a good charge. I also used it on my van, which I seldom drive. I could leave my other charger on for 24 hours and it would still show the battery wasn't fully charged. So this time I used this charger and it charged the battery fully overnight. I also like the connections it has because the clamps actually get a good grip on the terminals Not like some other chargers I have used in the past. I also have the quick connect on my bike so I can easily connect and disconnect it from the bike when ready to go for a ride. it is also simple to use, just connect it up and plug it in, wait for the green light.
