The only thing wrong was I didn't get my welding mask that was supposed be with it other then that I love it works great small and can literally carry it anywhere

It's the size of a toaster and can weld anything I might need together permanently. The manual, gloves, face shield and wire brush are garbage. The rods are good. Just as a super sloppy quick test I welded two Ford head bolts together with 1 J422 rod set on 140 amps. Smashed it 3 x on anvil with a sledge and welds held fast. This plugged in to a 100' extension cord. The best use for it. This is a 30 volt DC converter with adjustable amperage. I saved 2 ten y.o. 305 ah trojan L16 deep cycle batteries by following instructions on youtube. Saved me $600.00. Batteries would not charge at all. Now, they hold full charge and specific gravity of electrolyte is as new. A deep cycle charger would cost 350.00 and probably still wouldn't have worked. Just unbelievable.

So I used the welder just to verify functionality for maybe 2-3 minutes of actual welding on a few inch long welds and some tacks over 30 minutes . Seemed to do fine minus the adjustments literally not doing anything . Few days later I moved everything out and prepped to do some welding and it won’t turn on or even make a noise. But the main problem is that after unplugged it randomly would make noise and flash on for a split second at random times ….. yes fully unplugged so it must have capacitors or something inside that store current/power and could potentially start a fire if it arced and welded something when someone wasn’t around . Very very sketchy . It’s going back and I’m not even keeping it near anything I care about until it’s shipped out of my site!

Super light and works great so far. My first time ever welding anything and it did great. I welded a small section of exhaust pipe in my truck and it's holding up just fine. I kept it around 80 so I wouldn't trip my breaker and I had it plugged into a 50ft extension cord. I did a few 5sec welds and it never tripped the breaker and did just fine with the rods it came with. Will update after further use.
