I tried this on my A7S and A7Rii, and after years of using generic non-TTL flashes, I wish I had tried one of these earlier!It not only casts a very even and flattering light, I actually love the rechargeable battery pack and how it really interacts with the camera to figure out where my subject is and adjust the power of the flash accordingly. I can still use it to remotely trigger my generic flashes which is cool for back lighting, however I can imagine that a professional in the field might want one that uses AA standards so that batteries can be swapped without buying an extra one of these packs.I'm not a wedding photographer, I work with cameras for a living but only do freelance headshots and product photos, so a flash like this is kind of great in my opinion! Would recommend.

I'm still experimenting with this flash, although it seems to be promising for the long run.As an event photographer, I needed something that could easily adjust to different lighting scenarios and such. Events can be pretty wild because your environment may change constantly. Lights can be shut off, you may be moving indoors/outdoors frequently, and in some occasions you'll need to bring extra lights.The TTL feature on this flash comes in clutch as it constantly adapts to each scenario given the camera settings. It's basically an "auto" mode in the flash photography world. If you're looking for something like that, then...I recommend this flash.
