Makita GA4030 4-Inch Angle Grinder,Blue

This tool is the replacement for one that we've had for over 20 years. It's a newer model of the same tool, and has a couple upgraded features that our old one didn't have.* The guard installed easily.* The push button "lock" replaced the need for 2 tools to install and remove disks.* The on-off button took a little getting used to from our older model, but is easy to use. It locks in the "on" position for extended use, but flicks back off easily when you need to shut it down.* Overall weight of this tools seems a little heavier than our old model, but it is still manageable for all day or extended use. We used it for about 2 straight hours right out of the box.* We've used it with cutting and grinding (flapper) wheels so far, and it holds the wheels tight and true.* This does come with an optional side handle handle (we have not installed or used it.If this one lasts half as long as the last one, we'll be happy!
