I cannot even begin to say how happy I am with this shirt. Finding shirts that fit my guy can feel very much like a Goldilocks and the 3 bears quest as most shirts are either too short/too long, too small/too big, too itchy/too slippery, and the list goes on... But this shirt... this shirt is perfect...Upon trying it on, the first thing out of his mouth was, "hey... this feels nice..." (read that as a win).It will be easy to either dress up, tucked in with a nice pair of slacks, or even dress down, untucked with a pair of jeans and the sleeves rolled up- or any combination thereof. Either way, it's going to look fantastic, he says it feels great and I'm not worried it is going to be destroyed after the first washing (don't ask). If you have been on a quest for a solid shirt that can pull double duty for casual and dressy, you can stop now, this is it. I took a gamble on the material and the style, because it can go either way with shirts like this - too often they are susceptible to deformity, excess wrinkles and fraying, but this shirt passes those tests with flying colours. After a wash and dry it looks gorgeous - the shirt's material is comfortable and soft, light but not cheap-feeling. The stitching is pin-point and the measurements are precise. Basically, this seller doesn't cut corners - great product at a great price and I HIGHLY recommend them.

This shirt looks okay, but nothing spectacular. I like the contrasting plaid details, but they too are nothing spectacular. Note that to get that contrasting plaid detail on the sleeve like it is shown on the product page you will need to roll it up to expose it. IMO, the buttons are rather cheap looking.Be aware that this shirt is lightweight and shear, which may be okay for you if you don’t mind that sort of thing. I prefer something a bit heavier to provide a little more UV protection.This shirt is mostly cotton, which I love, so expect shrinkage. Personal experience has been that when you have a lightweight shear fabric like this, you really need to pay attention to laundering techniques to avoid shrinkage, if possible. (Without fail I eventually forget and end up with something I no longer can wear.) I found this shirt to be tight already even without laundering so you may want to consider getting a size, or two, larger depending on how loose you like your summer shirts to fit.

Love the looks of this shirt - as you can see from the photos on the Amazon description page and from my photos attached, the placket and sleeve cuffs have a contrasting material in a plaid. (Each color shirt appears to have the same contrasting material). I ordered a small and the actual shirt dimensions were smaller than on the size chart (chest expected=42 1/2", chest actual=41" and length was shorter by about 1") The shirt did not shrink after a cold wash and a tumble dry in a medium heat dryer. I must admit that this surprised me, considering that the shirt is 85% cotton and 15% linen -- I expected at least a bit of shrinkage. After wash and dry, the shirt did require ironing which is expected with a cotton and linen shirt. What was a little disappointing was that the shirt feels a bit rough on the skin when wearing. I might expect this with new garment, but not after wash and dry. I will need to wash it a couple more times and see if it softens. When ordering this shirt, be aware of the size difference between listed and actual.I will update this review after a few more wash and dry cycles.
