I love pixel phones for their Google integration as well as great camera. I had owned a pixel in the past with pretty terrible battery life. This model has an adaptive charging feature that helps extend the battery life. So far, so good. I have no complaints about this phone! If you're curious about the camera, the picture quality is excellent and does particularly well in low light conditions. Lots of customizable settings for the camera as well.

READ THE UPDATE FOR FULL REVIEW SO FARSurprisingly good- To be honest I thought it'd have problems-minor and major. But so far there is none. Lots of the reviews say things like it overheats, the fingerprint scanner doesn't always work, and so on. But I was surprised when none of that happened on this phone. In fact, my old phone (which was also used) was horrible. It had the typical used phone problems. Horrible battery life, it overheated, the power button was broken, it froze, it didn't always charge, and so on. I was expecting at least SOME of these problems in this phone. But there is NONE. Anyway, (I'm sure you can tell by my review already) I think it is totally worth spending 300-400 bucks on this phone. I'll soon leave an update with some pros and cons (as of now there is no cons).EDIT/UPDATE- (please be sure to read the last paragraph)Everything I stated earlier is true- and it still works. But now there's a problem. Every time I try to download something, it won't work. It'll say, "please enter your password". Well, I did, and it said it was wrong. To verify that this was true, I tried using the same exact password for my gmail, and guess what? It worked.Still determined, I changed my password. I wrote it down so I could remember it. Once that was accomplished, I was like, "yay, now I'm in the PlayStore". But then, when I tried to download an app, guess what? It asked for that same password. And ok, I'll just put it in. I mean, I just changed it, so the password was written down right in front of me. And when I put it in, it was incorrect. I put it in again. Incorrect. Again. Incorrect. And so on. I also tried putting this password in on my gmail, and yes, it worked.Even if I was doing the wrong password, I changed the one that it needed. Whatever password it asked for, I changed. So if I put it in, it should have worked. But it didn't.It is not just downloading apps. Ever since I signed in to my account on the phone, the fingerprint sensor stopped working. And that was such a bummer, because it had been really useful. One tap, and you are in your phone. But now I have to type in my password, which takes up more time. Of course, who cares, but it's worth mentioning. Anyway, YouTube, which comes installed, didn't work either once I signed in. It, just like everything else, needed the password that was right but the phone denied. Also, the PlayStore wouldn't have worked either, if it wasn't for the time I changed my password (if you change your password, the first time should definitely work). That is pretty much it, but not being able to install apps is a big deal.Because of this, I went to three different AT&T's. The first two didn't do much except for send me to a different location. But at the third one, we stayed for an hour. We reseted passwords, changed them, everything we could think of. But it still failed to work. Anyway, I'm gonna try a few last resorts before I do something about this. But I hope it won't come to returning it. Everything on the phone is great; it's like new. I will try everything I can to keep this phone. Also, this is on a child gmail. My daughter is older than 13, and everyone said it would change to a regular account once she turned 13. But no, that didn't happen. I checked the birthdate listed, and it is correct. So I am not sure if this is the phone's problem, or gmail's (which is why I didn't give it a lower review). Anyway if anything changes I'll write it here and explain how to resolve it.

I've had Samsungs for a long time and am quite used to how they work. This phone is still an Android phone, but the interface is a little different. For example, the volume buttons on the right side are lower and the wake button is above them, the opposite of Samsung phones. I can't get all my favorite apps, but there are others that are just as good. The main advantage of this phone is that its screen lock is stronger, and I do not get butt dials like I was getting too frequently with my last Samsung A24. The camera is just as good and the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also just as good, if not better. It does not have a headphone jack, but Bluetooth earbuds work well with it. I got an Otterbox case that was advertised on Amazon with it for a great price, that fits well and is very protective. So I like it and am glad I got the 7a instead of the latest model - that saved me a lot of money.

Overall, very satisfied with this phone. This was a relatively big step up from the Moto G7 I have had for the past 4 years, but due to the screen breaking constantly since the Moto G7 is kind of a big boy, and the charging outlet has been slowly getting iffy lately, I decided to try a Pixel since there is so much buzz around them and I was able to snag this at a bit of a discount (otherwise I would have gone for a Samsung but I'm not willing to pay full price for a new phone). There are some cool features such as the portrait mode on camera, the picture editing tools, display and operation features, processing speed, etc. I was a little disappointed that some of the display/ audio features were non adjustable (for example, the color theme - it automatically adjusts to match the color of your home wallpaper and so far I haven't found a way to change it, also can't seem to find a way to adjust the sound equalizer for anything which is annoying). This phone being another Android (Apple seems to hate me as much as I despise using them XD), the controls and features were simultaneously similar and different enough to my previous Android to be relatively easy to use but at the same time a number of things tripped me up - such as to hit the "go back" function, such as to reload a previous webpage, you have to slide left from the right side of the screen, and I have accidentally done so more times than I think it's reasonable to admit when just trying to scroll. This is a dumb design in my opinion.I wouldn't pay the full price for this phone tho, it's not quite that special in my opinion. All that being said, I just wanted something a little nicer than a Moto G7, and so far I can't complain about it too much. Peace out.

I love this Google smartphone. It delivers a great and solid experience in everything it does. The processor is snappy and the navigation is flawless. I love Google and all the apps work very well in this phone. The size is right for me. Not too big or too small. The screen is very good but the speaker is weak in general noise conditions. Headphones or a Bluetooth speaker are almost always the best option for video watching. The camera is very good and accurate. it has plenty of options for daily picture taking. The phone performs very well during phone calls. The reception is very good and reliable. I am not an intensive app user and I don't find myself on the road often, but I find the battery usage high. And it is understandable, given everything that the phone is capable of doing. The fact is that daily charge is necessary. The charger is powerful and fast. I like this phone very much. It is a strong and modern smartphone that you can get at a more sensible price.

The benefit of this phone is how fast it is compared to cheaper phones. Startup time is extremely fast and you can load everything very quickly. The picture quality is very nice and you have the newest Android versions which is really great as well.I bought this unlocked and took it to my phone service provider and they had it loaded up in no time. Since it's Android you can log in to your Google account and everything including your home/load screen and apps remain the same. Hands down an excellent nice looking phone for the mid range price.

This is an excellent phone and I couldn't tell that it had ever been opened or used. It sure seems to be new. Pixel phones are known for their great cameras and this one is no exception. I'm a photographer from way back and this phone won't replace my DSLR or mirrorless cameras, but it's way better than the cameras built into most low or mid-priced phones. Lots of camera features that will keep you busy learning them all.The phone's processor seems fast to me, there's little or no lag bringing up apps or videos. The phone's signal strength is good. Where I live, the nearest tower is not close enough to provide a strong signal throughout the house, but the Pixel handles it nicely. The battery doesn't last quite as long as my last phone, a mid-priced Samsung. But then again, the more powerful processor probably explains a lot of that. And it always has something displayed on the screen, even when it goes into sleep mode it shows a clock and a couple other indicators like the date, outside temperature and remaining charge.I'm satisfied with my purchase and yes, I recommend this phone if you want a premium phone without the 4 figure price tag.

It's got all the features you want and is easy to use. I couldn't be more pleased. However, when charged up to 100%, the estimated charge life is about 2 days. That's it. A day or so later, depending on use, the charge is dangerously low and needs to be plugged back in. WTF?

I needed a Pixel upgrade. My old Pixel 4a is no longer receiving security updates. I liked the 4a, its size, and its clean interface. I selected the 7a as a replacement since it will receive security updates until May 2028.The 7a is a good replacement. It is roughly the same dimensions, but it is thicker and heavier. The 7a feels like there's something solid in your hand rather than a lesser toy. I suppose this is extra battery. The migration from the 4a to the 7a went well using the USB-C cable adapter supplied with the new 7a phone. But I have to complain that two critical programs were not migrated. The two programs (and their data) were for 2FA programs used at work. One was Symantec VIP Access, and the second was DUO Two-Factor Authentication.I turned off gestures and use the three navigation buttons like the old days. The buttons are obvious and intuitive, and I do not like swiping with gestures like in iPhones.128 GB of storage space is good. Even with all my music, I have about 100 GB of free space.I cut-over service from my old phone using a single SIM. AT&T gave me the new 5G SIM card for free. It was painless. The Pixel 7a has Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS), which allows users to choose which SIM to use for calls, data, messaging, and other functions. I'm not that fancy. The phone continues to work well when tethering to a Linux desktop machine. I cannot comment on battery life since the phone is usually docked to my desktop computer. Now that my old 4a is a a hot spare, I'll be installing LineagOS on it. I like getting away from Android completely because of how intrusive Google is. I could not do it previously because I have to be careful when a phone is used for work.

This will be last update as I will start Amazon return process for my new Google Pixel 7A. I have tried all options and can not miss return window. Everything else works except Camera and PhotosUpdate 01-17-24: So far no response from @Google. One more thing- Fingure print Scanner has its own mind after putting screen protector on phone. Sometime it works after 1000 attempts (Exaggeration!). Most of time it does not. Never had this issue with Samsung. I will give benefit of doubt to Google... May be Glass screen protector is not a good quality one. Ordering new screen protector. Will see how it goes. I saw few reviews with Fingure print scanner issues specially in 7A. I am now thinking 7A is lower end, budget friendly phone so its bound to be of inferior quality. Wait.. this is Google phone, so it can not be!Will wait for google to respond. (I have doubts about that they will reach out as 7A is a low end phone, but will see.)Original Review:My first pixel. I was Samsung Note user till this point. I bought this phone few weeks back. It all went smooth after opening box. (Not as smooth as Galaxy) In week 2, camera suddenly stop working. It gives error the message (See Pic). I closed and open camera app 10 times but it did not work. So I thought may be it's one off thing and I restarted the phone, and camera started working again. I was not happy but well it's Google flagship phone, it has to be good. It happed 1 more time and I restarted phone but it just happened again today (Pic). I will have to restart phone to make it work again. By the way I do not use camera that frequently. So far I took less than 10 Pic so it can be overuse issue( if that even considered an issue !!) If this happens again I will return the phone. I want to make sure I do not miss return window.Google: Shame on you for this poor quality Pixel 7A product. I know you must have good QC but there is something wrong with it or you have software issue. Not sure if this is a common problem across all Pixel models. Be aware before you buy.I will post update. I hope Google respond as I do not think Amazon can do anything other than Return/Replace.Put 2 Star for now. Will remove 1 star if no response in 5 days from Google and we all return phone back.
