I've been using this little 4K 1x2 splitter (model EZ-SP12H2) for about 3 weeks and it's been great except for one thing. After about two weeks, it quit and had to be power cycled to recover. When it quit, the lights were still on but there was no output to either port even though I verified the set top box was providing output by running it straight to each TV as tests. Also tried rebooting the set top box and both TV's with no help. When I power cycled the splitter, it came back to life immediately.Except for that one outage (so far) the device worked perfectly out of the box. It can be tough to find another splitter that offers so many features, such as EDID handling choices and scaling settings for each of the two ports. I'm driving the input from a Technicolor UIW4001 DVR set top box from provider Hotwire, output #1 is set to no scaling and drives an LG 4K (UHD) TV, output #2 is set to scale and drives a 2K (HD) Samsung TV. Htting info on each of the TV's confirms the 2160P on the 4K UHD LG, and 1080p on the 2K HD Samsung TV. I tried "no scaling" to the 2K Samsung and as expected the Samsung could not decode that 4K signal.Will update the review if I have future troubles but for now I like it. If the need for occasional power cycling continues I'll have to consider other ways to power it. Right now I have it always on. I might need to make the power source more accessible instead of having everything hidden, or power the splitter from the set top box or TV if either of them provides sufficient power, so that the splitter would power cycle with the TV or set top box. The splitter manual calls for a power range that states 5 volts 0.3Amps to 5V 3Amps. At that mimimum it means they want at least a 1.5 watt source (even though the specs say it uses 1 watt).This should easily get 5 stars if it didn't hiccup, but only that one time hiccup so far.

The ATEM Mini Pro Extreme (https://amzn.to/3OQKGFi) is pretty picky about which HDMI splitter you need to use - I had several from before and none worked at all. I simply wanted to be able have my external monitor available on one of my ATEM inputs. This unit has been working solidly since I figured out the DIP switch settings and which output ports went to which destination. As you can see in the picture, what worked for me is both DIP switches up, HDMI1 going to the ATEM and HDMI2 going to my monitor. In one of my photos, you can see me writing my draft review on my external monitor and it is also Camera 2 on the ATEM multiview. Saves a lot of plugging and unplugging.
