I'm 5'7" and suffer with degenerative disc disease and chronic sciatica. I've been looking for a reasonably priced orthopaedic chair for a while and this was suggested to me by Amazon's algorithm. I checked all of the specs and it seemed perfect for my needs and with grey upholstery it would fit perfectly with my decor.I hesitated purely due to the price which seemed ridiculously cheap for such a chair. However I have other furniture from HomCom so thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I did, the chair comes in a couple of parts but it's easy to put together. I had help because of my back and it only took about 10 mins.When I first sat in the chair I was shocked at how comfortable and supportive it is! I'm so glad to have bought this chair. Not only is it excellent quality, it's also perfect for older and or infirm people particularly with back problems. The only downside might be that if you are shorter than 5'5" the seat may be a little too high. Other than that there is nothing but plus points! I highly recommend this chair!

Came in a large box, have to screw legs on, screw wings in and slot in the back. so easy, even without instructions. Looks great, my mum says "it's comfortable, supportive and would recommend to anybody, feels so good for her bad back and neck". Very happy with this purchase.

I am pleased with this chair, easy to assemble, sturdy, higher than my other chair, so easy to get up from sitting therefor great for people with back problems or the elderly ( like me ) good price too.

This chair arrived today after an aborted delivery yesterday. It looks and feels nice. Assembly of the chair was for the most part, straightforward. The only problem was the "wings". Sadly the picturegram instruction were not clear, or that helpful. To be fair I do have a sight problem and others may find them fine. But after attaching the sliders to the side of the upright back of the chair, it took quite a few attempts to get the sliders to engage to fit the "wings". Once done, all was fine. For me, it feels relatively sturdy and comfy to sit in. You don't sink into it which will be better for getting up. It's not bad for the price in my view.

Bought one to try and bought another the next day with next day delivery. I'm in my late 70's with severe arthritis and Advanced Prostate Cancer and it took me only about 15 mins to unpack and assemble. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Sturdy chair. I like the removable seat cushion that is held in with velcro and is very easy to remove to look for those little things that always seem to disappear down the sides. Seat is firm but comfortable.

Wow wow wowOk start from the beginning.... the seat as two metal slots that the back of the chair slots into. Easy to fit and very secure.The feet are easy to just screw on.The wings got me a little confused .... the wings themselves have a metal bar thing on them and I couldn't work out what to do ... then I realised the metal bar has two parts and you slide one part off and screw that into the sides of the chair, then slot the wing onto the back of the chair with the metal bar.From start to finish it took 10 mins to put together.Ok now the chair itself... no idea what the material is, it feels like velvet but doesn't look velvet... either way it's soft to touch.The seat is quite firm but not hard, if that makes sense. The back has padding in it so the whole chair is super comfy.The arms are low, almost in-line with your legs so if you want a chair that you can lean an arm on, this prob isn't for you.My mum has a bad back and she said this was lovely and comfortableI was very impressed with the chair and the price makes it an absolute bargainI would highly recommend anyone to get this unless you're looking for an everyday chair to lean on the armsDef 5 stars
