I'm pretty new to collecting trading cards, and while I am pacing myself, there are quite a lot of large card sets I want. In particular, I'm a huge Stargate SG-1 fan and not even counting the Stargate Atlantis sets, SG-1 and only some of its insert sets is over a thousand cards, so when I saw this pack of pages I decided to take a chance on them, because old school binder pages was always going to be the cheapest way to store that many cards and this pack was a steal of a deal for side loading pages any way you looked at it.And they are decent pages, with perhaps one very big flaw that is definitely a deal breaker for some collectors. They DO NOT fit penny sleeved cards. Well they definitely don't fit Ultra Pro style sleeves that have that tiny bit of excess plastic at the top very well. They would fit, but not without a whole lot of care and effort to avoid damaging the cards when you are putting them in, let alone making it all look nice, and you definitely get that air pocket you have smooth out as well. I do not know how well they would work with exact fit sleeves or the Pokemon deck sleeves that come in ETBs, but these pockets are pretty tight fitting, especially when both sides are occupied. And if the cards have sharp corners you have to be pretty careful to not let the edges catch on where the plastic is “sewn” onto the black backing of the page. As someone who loves to reorganize my cards pretty frequently, I really like ease in getting the cards in and out.I will be using these for movie/TV trading cards, but all that said Pokemon and other TCG cards are a thinner thickness than any of my Marvel cards, so these may still be good for TCGs. I wasn't really planning on sleeving up all the Stargate cards, as they're not worth a whole lot, but it should always be a consideration. The Marvel sets that I want like Thor Ragnarok, Into the Spiderverse, and the upcoming Loki S1 set are all going to be a lot more expensive and I'll probably want to sleeve them so that would make these pages incompatible. How the cards fit aside, I do like the quality of these, I wouldn't call them high quality, but they are tough enough that I have confidence they won't rip out of the binder and I like the clarity of the clear plastic. I bought a 2 pocket Ultra Pro binder and the clear plastic of the pockets got all scuffed up so they looked murky super fast, and now that will forever be the standard by which I judge...Overall for the price you still get a huge amount of side loading card pages that are a decent quality if not the most ideal. I would recommend them if you don't sleeve your cards, or for your cheaper cards that you don't feel need to be sleeved. I think they would be great for kids who are not very concerned with condition, or if cards are just a passing fad for them.
