The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Special Edition - Wii U

Originally I got this for just the case but I love everything about this. The case has an awesome design. The map feels like it is from long ago. The sound selection cd is full of catchy tracks you will hear when playing. The coin is of high quality. The game of course deserves a 9.5/10 from my experience. Not perfect but still one of the best games I have ever played. It's not tainted with agendas like mass effect or horizon zero dawn, it's just a game. And that is all I wanted. Kinda bummed I could not get the Master Edition cuz Nintendo stuff always sells fast but this worked just as good. I still want the Master Sword Statue though. All in all get this game and you will not regret it.

With these special editions, you're either getting things of necessity or things to display. The special edition is 50/50, but worth it. I was a tad upset that I wasn't able to nail down a Master Edition, but after watching videos, the sword seemed flimsy and not worth the extra money. I was going to cancel this order being that I figured it would just be extra garbage, but the carrying case is worth the price alone. It's well-made, sturdy, and not just for show. I watched a video online, and the actual case itself is as quality of a product as it seems online. I'm also enjoying the album that came with it.I have not done anything with the coin or the map.

One of Nintendo's first ever "Special Edition" packages for a game, and what a package it is! Everything was made well from high quality materials, nothing feels flimsy or cheap. The soundtrack, while not exhaustive, has a very nice selection of music from the game. The coin is nice and heavy and the map/tapestry is made from a sturdy cloth-like paper. The Sheikah Slate Switch case is nice and thick on the outside and well-insulated on the inside, it has a place to store 12 Switch cartridges, and a mesh pouch for Joy-Cons, earbuds and other accessories. It comes in a cardboard insert designed to look like the pedestal Link takes it from at the beginning of his adventure. Well-worth the price.

Excellent condition, prompt delivery from the seller. great soundtrack! The map is small, but it is double sided and printed on a thick parchment/papyrus like paper and looks great. The coin is cool, and comes in a protective casing. Like the map it's just a novelty, but it has a quaint charm about it like you have a gold shilling or something which is funny. As for the game itself, it is amazing, enough said. The carrying case is probably the nicest novelty, it's built sturdy and has plenty of room in it for headphones and the joycon grips and can fit a ton of games(more than have even been released I believe haha) and it just looks really cool. From afar, if you're holding the carrying case by its handle, it looks like you're holding some medical bag that a medieval apothecary or something would tote. Also funny, which adds to it's already satisfying list of pluses.

This Special Edition is an absolute must for Zelda fans and was well worth the $99 (I got it from Prime Now after the one I ordered for $150 came dented). Obviously, Breath of the Wild is a great game, so I won't bore you with that other than to say the cover art of this edition is different from the standard physical version's and is quite lovely. The game boots up quickly, and I rarely see dips in performance although the load times are the things of nightmares when you're headed into a "boss battle." The packaging for the Special Edition is a treat for the eyes and hands. The box is smooth and has a satiny feel to it while the art is of such quality that I'm using it as decoration. All of the goods are packed neatly in a blue, Sheikah-themed cardboard. I wanted the Special Edition of Breath of the Wild for the carrying case, and it does not disappoint. It's sturdy yet lightweight. After being thrown in various bags and subject to a humid Alabama summer, it's still kicking, and I haven't lost a single decal. There's enough room for 12 games/ micro sd cards and a mesh pouch in the front cover that I've managed to fit a 6-foot long USB-C cable and a somewhat bulky charger in, and it zips just fine without straining the zipper. I admit I wish the carrying handle was on the top so I could attach it to my hip with a carabiner but that's a small gripe. The soundtrack is fantastic and makes for excellent study and driving music. When imported to iTunes and played via iPod, the quality is about the same. Even at a loud volume and unadjusted, there's no tinniness. While I'm not usually one for maps, this one shares that lovely satiny feel of the box (better, I'd say) and is a high-quality print. It doesn't feel like a toy at all and looks like something Link himself would use. The coin isn't very exciting, but it's fun to look at and made me feel involved in the world. Unfortunately, this edition did not contain a download code for the additional DLC nor a skin like the Collector's Edition Screen Protector and Skins by PDP, both of which I recommend to complete the experience. If you're able to get a hold of this Special Edition, you absolutely should! You won't regret it.
