I bought this mouse to use in the office when we had new desks because who likes wires? The mouse itself is pleasing on the orbs, the subtle RGB lighting is nice and the ergonomics of the mouse make it very comfortable to use.The reasons it’s lost a couple of stars are that when you connect the mouse, it automatically downloads and installs the Alienware software from the Microsoft store, which is PANTS.When the software is on the PC, it creates huge input lag, making it very frustrating to use. After I uninstalled the software it remedied the lag but I then couldn’t manage the RGB.The battery in the mouse is okay, lasts about a week maybe a week and a half.My biggest gripe is that the mouse has developed a rattle which is subtle but VERY irritating when the office is quiet. It’s like has broken/come loose inside but it’s never been dropped or mistreated.Overall I’d not recommend purchasing this, especially not for gaming. There’s plenty of alternatives out there.

This mouse seems fine, but god it's just so boringly efficient. It tracks really well, is a bulkier mouse so much better ergonomically I think than others (though doesn't advertise itself as such), seems to have OK battery life. Alienware app is annoying but almost everyone's is like that. Did this cost me 70 quid? Why? It doesn't feel premium. It also has an incredibly annoying proprietary micro USB cable (but at least I can plug it in to charge without my PC having to be on). On the other hand, it is 30 quid cheaper than a lot of mice that are so much worse. UPDATE: The LEDs whistle, so if you can hear high-pitched noises like I can, then you are going to find this very annoying. I am going to have to return it.

This amazing mouse is great. I have both the white and dark versions of this mouse. The battery life can go after a few weeks, but if you plug it in it charges in no time. So it's not all that bad. I enjoy the general feel and comfort of it. Granted it's not a cheap mouse, but it will surely last. Can be both wired or wireless depending on your situation.
