I did some research for various duck boots. Sperry's quality is legendary so when I saw these on sale I jumped and got a pair. I just got them and I was extremely happy with the quality of the workmanship and materials. Unfortunately they're really snug on my feet and I got the size I always get. I think maybe because they're solid leather. So then I thought, no big deal, I'll return them and reorder a size bigger... now they're 40.00 more expensive. I'm bummed because the boots are wonderful so now I'm faced with a decision of spending more more on another pair.

I wanted duck boots but everyone in the Southeast has the same darn pair and color duck boots and I wanted something different. These stand out. Super heavy leather that's noticeable. Gear deep cordovan color. I've dressed these up with biz casual in bad weather days. Always get compliments anytime I wear them. They look and feel like they'll last a lifetime.

Very well constructed and they should last for a long, long time. They are true to size. The tread is perfect for slick or muddy surfaces. Waterproof all day long. I'm curious to see how long the leather laces last. Even one breaks they are easily replaced.I hesitated go buy them because they had no reviews. I'm glad I took the chance. They look great and feel great. I'd say that the laces are the only potential weak point but I haven't had any issues yet so, we'll see. I highly recommend.
