Very good starter package which included accessories to get started.Read the manual and was disappointed to find out that rag quilt dies can only cut 1 or 2 layers of fabric at a time. I guess it's still easier than doing all the snips by hand.

I ordered this for my wife as a birthday present, and she seemed to be happy with it?Since I don't quilt I have no idea if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but I did give her the option to return it for something else if she wasn't happy. She has decided to keep it, and I've not seen her come out of her quilting room since? LOL....My own personal observation about how this works now that I've seen it, is I don't see how this machine saves you fabric? If anything I see you wasting a bit more than were you to cut by hand, but I guess that's where the machine comes into its own........you don't have to cut by hand.If you are young and fit and don't suffer from hand or muscle cramps, then maybe stick to doing it by hand. If you or the quilter in your life are a bit older and suffer from the above issues (and don't mind the small amount of fabric waste), then this machine is a keeper.
