I had no words for the longest time after finishing this book. After reading the Ever King/Queen duet there was such high hopes for the next book in the series.Let me tell you, every single one was surpassed!Skadi and Jonas have an amazing story and it was told beautifully. They are perfect for each other in the way they are playful, protective, caring, stubborn and dealing with their own darknesses. The bantering was key to opening Skadi up from the everything had had happened to her in the past. The family dynamic added to it because it helped her see that she was in the right place and eventually see she had finally gotten the family she deserved.The spice scenes…. Well let’s just say. One tub two adults is always a great one.
