The price is more affordable. The important thing is that it works as expected, blowing 60 degree F air out of the cold end and exhausting hot air and water out of the back end. Like any air conditioner, it takes a few minutes to reach the lowest temperature, but once it reaches the lowest temperature, it stays there. The price is still a little high, but it is definitely a must-have if you want to get out with the homebody. The unit is much lighter than expected, but it is also a bit larger than expected. The setup takes no time and the remote is simple, but that's what you want. You can use the remote repeater to connect it with your favorite assistant for on/off. Overall, I am happy with its performance and ease of use, and my SO is also more enthusiastic about camping/fishing because her biggest concern is sweating.

Despite the upscale price, this portable air conditioner is exactly what I’d hoped for.I take my 3 Holland Lop bunnies with me when I stay in my tiny trailer when visiting family. At the RV park, I create an outdoor bun-run with fences & tarps but knew, ahead of time, that my regular big square electric fan just wasn’t going to be able to handle these new climate-crisis heat waves were all having. By creating a tent with the tarps over the bun-run & using both the electric fan & the portable air-conditioner = we beat the heat, big time!! This was our first time using it so, hopefully, it will continue to run as smoothly as it did this trip. So far, I would highly recommend this product!!
