I bought these because I always have small amounts of chopped onion, garlic, chopped tomatoes etc. but no small containers, so I would put them in large containers but then they take up all the space in the refrigerator. I love that they have a screw on lid because it doesn’t leak, you can put liquids in them and not worry about leakage. I recommend them

My husband had a habit of opening a can of soup or a package of carrots and simply leaving the food out in the refrigerator where it dried out or retained odors from other foods. These containers work so well for people who can't or don't use storage containers which "press" closed. These lids simply turn and the container is closed.We now own them in all sizes. The 48 oz size is very useful for keeping carrots or celery fresh and hydrated in water in the refrigerator until they are served in a dish. Keeping leftover foods is so easy now--even by my husband whose hands easily turn the lids instead of having to press the covers.

These things are the BEST! After clearing out our cupboard of a mishmash of old, crummy containers, I decided to follow my daughter’s advice and purchase sets of these containers in three different sizes. What a difference! They are inexpensive but high quality containers that don’t leak or retain food odors. I use them for leftovers because they take up a much smaller footprint in the fridge than flatter containers, and because they can even fit on the door slots/shelves. This has created a lot more space in our fridge. I also use them to store avocado or lemon halves, sauces, tuna salad, guacamole, etc. We don’t ever microwave plastic containers, so we just dump leftovers into a Pyrex bowl for heating. These clean up easily by hand using a brush, or on the top shelf of the dishwasher. These have been a total game changer.
