I'm so happy i made this purchase. I've only had my couch for a year and it was sinking already and then I came across this product and it immediately felt firmer once I put it in. I don't feel embarrassed about my sofa looking droopy and old anymore. Definitely worth it for me.

I use these for my dogs. I have two Labradors and we are training to get them off the couch. We prop them straight up and down with pillows to keep the girls from jumping. My mom leaves hers just angled for her dog because he ends up sliding down it. I will continue to use these through the years for our animals.

Kept it just because it a huge roll of wood. But it's too short according to measurements in description and makes sitting hard... literally.

I bought a new couch late last year but the couch does not have springs in the frame so, although comfortable, causes whoever is sitting on any cushion crack to sink into oblivion (or at least feel like it) I loved the couch too much and it's not actually broken....just an unfortunate drawback of a large couch without springs....so I needed to find an alternative.I never liked couches that needed extra support because any that I have ever sat on before felt like I was sitting on a piece of plywood (lets be honest, that's the route most people go anyway) but I did not want that feeling. I like soft couches, I don't want to sit on a board. After researching for an hour, I decided on this brand because the reviews were better than most, the price was decent and the material seemed to be just right (not too thick, thin, etc)It arrived quickly and I slapped this under my couch cushions immediately to give it a test and I was actually fairly impressed. I did not sink into the cushion cracks anymore! It did add a little bit of firmness to the cushions but not in a drastic way. I was comfortable, I still have my soft seating and didn't have to compromise. Well done.

Sofas Saved! My 8”, dense foam cushions and upholstery are still in very good condition; but the springs have weakened, so we “sink.” I think if your cushions are not as substantial as they used to be, this will not solve that problem. We have two sofas, about 15 & 20 years old. I bought two of these support products; and can now eke out several more years service from them…Making this a fabulous value for the money. The old thinner, metal support “liner” that I bought several years ago worked for a while, but is no longer sufficient. I do not have problems with cushions sliding; nor do I see the product from the front. I chose a size to fit, so the front of the product is a few inches from the front edge of the sofa; immediately behind the rigid front frame. The fully enclosed boards seem just thick enough to provide the cushions the right amount of firm support. Not that this is the manner in which the product will be used; And only for strength reference; When I (average size woman) stood on 1 foot, on one/single board, it barely “gave.” I was pleased with that balance of rigidity.
