Summary - These pant are garbage and threw out out after first use. Go with instead with - Hanes Originals Cotton Joggers, Jersey Sweatpants for Men with Pockets.Detail - I wanted a pair of sweatpants, and rationally priced, not lululemon ridiculously expensive, that had elastic waist band, had a draw string to tighten, and had a somewhat deep pockets to securely encapsulate a modern cell phone... aka I wanted a pair of sweatpants that I did not have to pull up every minute while walking and also kept my stuff from falling out. These sweatpants failed in almost every-way. I put them on and they were too loose so tightened the drawstring, put them back on and the scrawny/thin drawstring broke. The elastic was not that elastic and to boot the pockets were shallow - Pixel 7 stuck out about an inch. So I had a pair of sweatpants too loose and was worried my cell phone would fall out if I did anything but walk. The Hanes that I mentioned above are a much better product… in fact they are just about perfect if not a bit thin… Do to my issues with them I threw this product out after first use… the only good point is that they were cheap and disposable, and not worth the hassle of returning.

I'm 5'9" & I weight 135, I bought these to wear over my legging, since I have a long walk to the store and bus stop. It's about 14 to 16 blocks to the bus stop. When it's 14 to 25 degrees outside, it's hard to stay warm waiting on the bus. Even with a down coat, my legs still get cold. The only way to stay warm while waiting on a bus, is to have extra layers on. Even with Silk long underwear under legging, it's still not enough to stay warm on a cold windy day waiting on the bus. Since, I plan on washing & drying them, I though Xtra large would be large enough after washing them, but after drying them in the dryer, they were more like legging. So I ordered another 2 pair, in a 2X, so when I washing them, I will still be able to get them over my legging, without feeling like I'm trying to put another pair of legging on, over my legging I have on. I hope this helps someone, but otherwise these are soft & very comfortable. Since I can't get them over the legging at the present time after washing & drying them, I'm using them to sleep in, since my apt is like sleeping outside in the winter in a tent. It's so cold in the apt., many of my neighbors have heaters. I wear sweatpants, long sleep T-shirt, sweat shirt over that, a knit hat and thick socks to sleep in. I sleep under 4 blankets. The bad part is when you get out from under the covers, it like you are outside, it's so cold. Using these as Pajamas works out great for me, because they are keeping me warm indoors. It would be really great if we had better heat in our apartments.

Very satisfied with these sweats. They were among the lowest priced sweatpants around with surprisingly good quality.I bought them for the gym but they'd be comfortable enough to lounge around in at home as well. I read reviews that said the pants had a lot of pilling but I've washed them 3 times and zero pilling so far.As for size, I'm 5' 8" 160 pounds and Large fits almost perfectly; just a tiny bit wide at the waist but a medium I'm sure would be a tiny bit snug. Pockets could be just a little bit deeper, then they'd be perfect.Definitely recommend.

I bought these for my daily walk in cooler weather. They are lightweight and are fine for that purpose and what I wanted. They would also be fine for lounging around the house. I read the reviews before purchasing and bought a size larger than I would ordinarily buy. I wear 34 pants and usually would get a medium in sweats, but ordered a large, and they fit fine. I just received them today, so haven’t washed them yet and don’t know how much they may shrink, if any. The pockets are very shallow and will barely hold a cellphone, so I will have to be careful not to lose it while walking. Overall, these are a good value and I would purchase again. Just be cognizant of the small sizing.

The only thing with these is that the legs are quite long. I didn't find the elastics to be a problem at all like others have stated. They're quite thick and warm and very very comfortable.
