I live in an apartment and we have water bugs all over outside. They were able to get in under my front door due to a gap under there. The maintenance guy put some new weather stripping on it but I could still see them crawling in. My bed is about 2 feet from the front door because this is a studio apartment, and I found one of those large bugs in my bed. I got this in the hopes that it would help completely block off the gaps and thankfully it has done it's job so far.I will keep this updated since I haven't had it long, but so far it's been great. When I turned off all lights inside and looked at the bottom of the front door, there was no light at all from the outside building light so it's doing a good job,

Got this for our interior garage door on the new house and had enough to cover both sides of the door. The strips are easy to cut. After cutting the strips to fit you just clean/prime the doors surface with the small wet nap style chemical wipes, peel the protective cover off the back of the sweep and stick it on. Note - wear gloves and ventilate the area! The wipes smell and I’m sure you don’t want that chemical on your skin. Our door is not level with the floor across its full swing. The bottom of the door sits at a different hieght depending on whether it is opened, closed or anywhere in between.I only realized this after I put the outside half on. Try to find your highest gap point and apply accordingly. Ours rubs across the full swing but rubs harder as you open it farther. This increased friction has not weakened the hod of the adhesive after a week of use, but I’ll keep you posted.I would not use this as a solution on a nice door as I’m certain it will ruin the finish or paint when you rip it off. But as a quick fix on a junk door where you just wanna close off the gap at the bottom.. it works. Not so much for light though. You can still see the glow of sunlight through the material.I’ll grab some photos when I get home. But you will see what I mean. So if light blocking is your goal this is not the answer.@ $15 bucks you might do better with a velcro mounted style draft blocker at half the price. Especially if the velcro can be mounted with something like a command strip that pulls away clean. This might be a tighter seal for bugs but calculate for you particular situation. We opted for tighter seal because we will be replacing this door at some point and don’t care if it reps the paint off. It’s a junk door.I’m not usually a fan of adhesive solutions but in this case it worked for us.As always this is made in china and a home grown solution is always better if you have the time to find or make it.

My wife has to have cats, blah... So I ordered these for the doors. I work 3rds so cat always crawling under bedroom door. Not anymore HA! No seriously I love these things. Even helped keep the extra little light I was getting out of the room. Love these. Sticks perfectly!

Nothing really special about this door sweep. It ships rolled up in a tight roll, but once I let it hang out a bit it was not hard to work with. I painted it to match the rest of the door hardware before installation. All good.

This is the second one I've had. (Had to remove old one for painting.) This works well and is very easy to apply.
