I wanted to help out any other new people to getting their keyboard to work & pair. First of all, this was clearly a returned keyboard (box ripped open and retaped) even though I didn't intentionally order "used - like new". Nowhere on my order doesn't is specify even though on the website, all I can find now are "used - like new". (I swear I avoided this option when I purchased it.)2. QUALITY & FEELThis keyboard feels sturdy and is full sized. I like the feel of it. It claims to be quiet but I've had quieter ones. Not terrible, just not silent.3. INACCURATE & NONEXISTENT INSTRUCTIONSAll you get is a little pictograph of how to link/pair by Bluetooth which involves turning it on. Literally that is all it shows. To turn it on, the image seems to indicate that you run your finger down the keyboard in the number area. Since I've had wireless keyboards that only required touching a key to "wake it up," this seemed reasonable. What bothered me was that there was no light to indicate if it was on and It wasn't showing up on my laptop as an available device to pair with.I tried finding an owner's manual online. There are multiple postings of a video showing how to open the battery case but that is it. There is a download button for a manual on the Logitech website, but nothing downloaded. Ugh! I tried putting in my own fresh batteries. Nothing. My laptop is looking and looking but not finding the keyboard. Finally I picked it up and examined it from every direction. On the back edge is an on & off switch that does not match the "on" pic on the stupid instructions in any way! Instantly everything worked. I would have been better off ignoring the instruction sheet and just following my intuition to find a switch. So, if you are struggling, it is not your fault. Logitech - you need to update/improve your instructions!!!

I absolutely love this keyboard. ( I had a $22 keyboard and when I took it out of the box it felt cheap with high buttons and flimsy plastic. It stopped working well within the 30 day return window, thankfully.)I researched and found a lot of recommendations for this Logitech K585. I also found a similar looking MK470 that came with a mouse. They were the same price so I looked into why. This Bluetooth enabled keyboard can be used with both your computer AND your phone. What?!?! Score! I’m writing this review on my phone, using this keyboard. I love it.It’s so easy to set up that the directions are just a handful of pictures. I figured out how to get it going on both my computer and phone in a couple of minutes. To switch keyboards you just click on the corresponding white button, 1 (F11) is computer and 2(F12) is phone. You can go back and forth between your computer and phone on this keyboard with the click of one button. There’s a stand to hold your phone or a pen and a shallow area for dongles or paper lips. It takes 2 batteries under the white section. I chose the pretty pink so it’s got style, as well. The keyboard itself is sturdy and well made. It feels good under your fingers. The keys are low profile and comfortable.PROS: Well made, color choices, can be used with phone or computer, low profile keys, phone holder, has page down button, Bluetooth technology.CONS: Doesn’t come with mouse so you’ll need 2 dongles in your computer

I didn’t think it would be as good as it is. The Keyboard buttons are soft, quiet and responsive. The programmable keys are a …. Welcome!!!! You can program the special keys to function for different apps and the menu of options, is unlimited! I wanted a keyboard that would pair with my current Logi Mouse and this keyboard, paired up very well. The programmable app also controls my mouse functions. I just love it!The special slot for your phone, which I felt was unnecessary, is actually so helpful. I immediately just flop my phone on it instead of just dropping it on the table. The compactness of the keyboard is perfect for use with Lightroom and Photoshop as it makes it so easy to reach all of Adobe’s special keys. I wanted a keyboard primarily for this and this is it.I works great under linux Ubuntu as well and you can even program the special keys to your liking under the Settings without the need of another program. Ubuntu is always a pleasure to work with when it comes to third party add-ons. Too bad I can’t just run my photography apps under Ubuntu. Maybe one day Adobe will see the light. The keyboard has some good weight to it that keeps it stable on your desk. The rubber feet aid it even more. It won’t slide around your desk as you work. The low profile makes it also great for your slide out keyboard tables.Cons: None so far. If I come across one, I’ll update my post.Update 03.20.24 I have found one con.. It does not have a physical "Caps Lock" light. Using Ubuntu, there's no On Screen indication when "Caps Lock" is activated. I'll look for a setting and re-post if I find one.
