This is such a great idea…. But it makes such a horrible noise when it is in the machine and then it shuts off. I put less coffee in, but then it’s only about half of a tspn of coffee. Which isn’t strong enough.

Once you get used to fill up the capsules the right way, this product works amazingly! I used to use the tinfoil covers but it’s way more work and more chances to do it wrong. This lid it’s very easy to use. I recommend it!

I recently purchased an Nespresso Vertuo Pop Plus for half of the regular price. It makes good coffee with lots of crema but pods are quite expensive (around $1.50 for one). Fortunately I found these lids. They work flawlessly. Remove the cover and the coffee in any used pod, fill it with three little scoops of tour favorite medium ground coffee (12.8 grams for those who want to be really accurate), tap it slightly with the back of the scoop, insert the silicon lid and use it as a regular pod. The resulting coffee is as good or better then the original. For me the price off a cup of coffee went from $1.50 to next to nothing, and I don't produce lots of plastic waste. After the use, remove the lid, discard the used coffee in the garbage or your green bin, wash the lid and you are ready to go again. Boy, I strongly recommend this product.

So happy I found these. I bought the pack of 5 last week and have used them daily. So far they have been great. I do find that the lid can slip in too far but it's easy to adjust. I have not noticed any coffee grounds in the prepared coffee or in the machine. They are easy to clean. Have a small footprint and in just a week I have already saved $$ on coffee. I'm hoping that with time there will be a safer non-toxic material than silicone - but can't have it all!I received the nespresso machine as a gift and quickly realized how expensive the coffee was and the limited compatability with using other coffee brands - can't beat the variety with Keurig. These definitely help in bringing the cost down. I'll still buy nespresso coffee but just not as much now. Some family members don't like the nespresso coffee and they are happy they can enjoy their brand using these lids.
