Great little kit if you have the Nespresso Vertuo line! Saves you money. Make sure you get yourself a good blender. I do wish that it came with a brush to wipe the rim of the pods before resealing, but just a tiny little nitpick!

I couldn't imagine refilling all of these pods without this kit. It came quickly, quality is great and easy to use.I saw some reviews that said the pods leaked in their machine and that the lids had to be absolutely air tight. That did not happen to me. I had to scrape all of the old covers off of the Starbucks pods, and a lot of the capsules still had bits of cover on them. These leftover bits poked tiny holes in the aluminum replacement lids from the kit. However, this did not cause any issue when I tested the pods! No leakage and a good brew, but I'm still testing how many scoops to put in each pod. It's a lot of extra work but worth the savings in coffee AND you can use your fave local roasts instead of strictly nespresso brand varieties.

This is a quality product and works well. The tamper is suprisingly heavy and pleasant to hold, the stand is well-made, and the foil lids are consistently of good quality, adhering well to the pods. However, before you buy this you should be aware that the whole process takes quite a bit of time. Some may not think it's worth it.Preparing Pods for refill:-The most tedius part is removing the foil from around the edges of the original Nespresso pods; it can be challenging to get the foil off from around the edges. The pods also need to be clean before they can be filled.Refilling Pods:-Make sure you use good-quality coffee at a fairly fine grind. I've had success with a grind not quite as fine as espresso. It takes a bit of a knack to get the right amount of coffee in the pods. Make sure that they foil is lined up carefully adhering it. The funnell provided can be used to help seat the foil, but don't press it too hard, it tends to dent and misshape the foil. I always make sure to label my pods for size and coffee type.Result.-The quality of the brew produced is dependent on the quality of your beans. Use good beans. Be aware that the flavour of your homemade pods will degrade fairly quickly, as they are not vacuum-sealed like the Nescafe pods.
