Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair High Back Swivel Desk Chair Adjustable Headrest Armrest Tilt Back and Tension

This was purchased to replace a 12 year old Healthy Back executive chair that cost 3 times the money I paid for the Argomax. It also kept showing up on many best office chair review lists when I was researching, I was used to mesh back, leather seat and thought this would fit the bill. It exceeded my expectations in quite a few ways. I work from home and spend 10 hours a day in this chair and so it must be not only be comfortable but supportive as well. After a few weeks I am thrilled with it!Pros:Excellent Lumbar support that I can slide the back up and down to dial in. No slouching when sitting forward and lots of cradle when leaned backComfortable as the mesh has good tension and breathes.Superb arms system that adjusts up and down and in and out angles as good as any manufacturer I have tried.The best post and base setup EVER! - I am short legged and with all the chairs I have ever tried I HATED that the gas post sticks down too far through the center hole of the base as I never wanted to use casters on any of my chairs so I could have a more feet flat on the ground knees slightly up sitting experience. This is the first chair I have EVER had that I didnt have to use the casters on it and it makes it 5 stars for me. Where I am all I need is swivel and it works great on this chair!Cons::Mesh on the seat AND back has a small tendency to have a bit of friction and untuck shirts and grab clothing when you are moving around in the chair.The seat though comfortable could have been an inch wider on either side (and the space is there to the arm posts,) so my backside doesnt go all the way out to the edge, (I am about 250lbs.)The headrest sits back a bit far even though it is highly adjustable and likely properly ergonomic based on a healthy spine.All in all with great construction, top notch features and a few very minor gripes you will be hard pressed to find a chair under $600 to match it and you will ABSOLUTELY not find anything in its zipcode for what Amazon sells it for. You know its a winner when you would have paid more and been happy with the purchase.UPDATE: I got nearly 4 years out of this chair before it really started to break down (the back is tilting a bit and wills soon fail.) I only deduct a start because the armrests on the chair dont hold up and one broke just before a year and was replaced by the manufacturer the second soon after. This chair sees 10 hours a day of me sitting in it at around 250lbs. So not bad for the price considering durability.

At first I was sceptical when I decided to bite the bullet and order this chair considering the massive mark down. But I'm glad I did.Coming from a DX racer chair I was impressed. Say what you will about DX racer and the like but give them props for their build quality. So my expectations were rather high.I'm 6 foot 2 inches, and 260 lbs and was a bit worried when it arrived, however once I put it together (which was incredibly easy) and sat on it for the first time. Being a big guy I was worried about the mesh seating, as this is the first chair that doesn't have a cushion. And at first it felt odd, uncomfortable even. It's a bit on the firmer side in terms of feel. However once I spent time on it I accumulated well to the feel, and having it breathe down there as well as the back works wonders for me.My DX racer was good but it didn't support the back at all, was often finding myself slouched forward constantly, that and the fact I slipped and fell on my tailbone one day has really done a number on my lower back. This is my first experience with an ergonomic chair and I'm never going back. I find myself now sitting with my back fully supported and see my overall posture improving, which is good for a Pc gamer such as myself who sits at his desk for several hours at a time during his free time.My only gripe, which is more of a personal preference thing is that there are some chrome painted parts that I wish weren't chrome. But again this is personal preference so I don't see the need to fault it.But overall the aesthetics are nice, extremely comfortable and supportive. Gas pump holds my heavy self no problems, no squeaking, no straining. And build quality is solid, all that's left is to see how long it lasts over regular use and time, I'll be sure to update this if anything does change.But for now I highly recommend it, coming from a tall husky gamer you can't really beat the price if you're on a budget but don't want to be TOO cheap.
