Yes, this 11-Cup pitcher is a bit "heavy" to handlefor me who has severe arthritis fingers and hands👎; however, because the "fresh, clear, & light taste" that Pur delivers matters to me most, it's hands down ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Yes, after comparing the two major brands - Pur and Brita of both faucet mounted water filters and water filter pitchers, "Pur" is FAR BETTER than Brita. In addition, Pur Plus is the far much better choice than Pur because Plus's filter replacement indicator frees me from guessing and/or recording the amount of water consumption, resting my mind at ease😉

The small flap that was supposed to flip up and allow dispensing of filtered water was binding up from the first use and splattering water everywhere when you tried to pour. I removed the flap and tried to reseat it in the small plastic circular retaining clips to no avail. The flap will not reseat and stay in place. I had ordered this more than a month ago to replace an old Brita pitcher and to have it at the ready when I used my last Brita filter. As I'm past the return window I'm stuck with this defective pitcher.

I BOUGHT THIS PUR PLUS WATER PITCHER FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR MY TWO DAUGHTERS WHO ARE AWAY AT COLLEGE. THEIR DORM ROOM HAS A COMMON FILTER SYSTEM ON EACH DORM FLOOR, BUT THE WATER STILL TASTES HORRIBLE. I DECIDED TO PURCHASE THIS FOR THEM TO SHARE. MY DAUGHTERS MENTIONED THAT THE PITCHER IS AWESOME, EASY TO USE, GREAT SIZE AND THEY LOVE THE GREAT NEW TASTE. MY DAUGHTERS MENTIONED THAT THEY ARE DRINKING MORE WATER NOW BECAUSE OF THEIR NEW PUR PLUS. THEY USE THE PUR PLUS TO FILL THEIR ICE TRAYS, FILL THEIR WATER BOTTLES, MAKE A NOODLE SNACK, ETC. I ALSO BOUGHT THE THREE PACK OF EXTRA FILTERS. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE A WATER DRINKER AND YOU ENJOY CRISP DRINKING WATER.
