I am so happy I bought this brush. It is beautiful, a lovely way to pamper yourself. After brushing my scalp tingles and the static is gone from my hair. I love the feeling, so I brush my hair multiple times a day. The result is healthier, shiny hair. Although it is small it is powerful and actually fits perfectly in my hand.

I didn’t dislike it but for me it wasn’t anything special and certainly not worth the money. The first one I received had bristles broken off in shipping. I had to return and wait for another. So it may be fragile. I don’t use it much because it doesn’t do anything special for me. I gave it 3 stars because wooden bristle brushes in general are good in general.

I am so impressed with this brush. For background information, I have very straight hair which is prone to fly aways and frizz. My hair is also a bit compromised due bleaching and overusing styling products. After using this brush for a few days, I have noticed a significant difference in both the flyaways as well as the overall shine of the hair. I have used bamboo brushes in the past, which have helped some, but this brush in particular makes it look as if I have used a hair serum to keep my hair smooth. I haven't noticed any hair breakage in the bristles, and have used this on damp hair. One of the best things about this brush which is unlike any brush I have ever used is the massage aspect of this brush. I didn't think I would notice such a big difference between this wooden brush and my old bamboo brush, but every time I brush my hair it feels like a mini massage. I highly recommend this brush for any straight haired individuals who may deal with breakage and fly aways. Cheers!

I have very fine, waist length hair. It is difficult to find a brush that doesn't exacerbate my static problem in winter or cause snarls and knots. This is the brush of my dreams. It is a work of art, very smooth with no unfinished edges to catch hair. It creates no static and wet or dry, brushes my hair without tangles or snarls. Once I got this and fell in love with it, I threw out all my lesser quality brushes since this is the gold standard for me. The workmanship on the brush is very fine. The cat face is very cute and the hole allows me to hang this brush up.The recommendation is to is camellia oil to keep the brush in top condition. I use just a few drops now and then. Likely any carrier oil would do. My hair is too fine to tolerate camellia oil directly on it but if you have more robust hair you could use the brush to condition your hair with camellia oil.Overall, I am very pleased I spent the money for this brush; it is a quality piece and makes me happy every time I pick it up.

This is the brush I bought in 2020-- My hair is long, curly, --- difficult to find the "perfect" brush for. My scalp was often itchy due to weather and forced dry air in my apartment; however over all the expensive brushes, shampoos, oils etc I purchased-- here NOW in 2022----- this little Boxwood Beauty and Camilla Oil is my go to for a good scalp massage, no static, and health. This is a brilliant little brush! Thank you!Follow up-- 2023-- this brush has been the lifesaver for my scalp and hair-- it's amazing-- it still is in great shape-- my hair (therefore, scalp) has never been happier or healthier. I am 68, and have long curly hair - my scalp dries out easily-- this is the best of the best. (Yes, I also use my Pearson first to detangle ends-- then-- I do head over , to knees, and use this fabulous brush from base of neck hair to ends to massage and bring out the natural oils twice a day. Believe me-- this brush is amazing! Only use Camilla oil to clean.... happy hair!
