I ostensibly gifted this to my wife because... she (I, actually) always wanted a giant wood cutting board. It's perfect. It's huge, richly colored, hard, and smooth. Ah, the pleasures of chopping!! One thing to note, I use the completely flat side. The other side has a perimeter "ditch" that I found hard to clean on day one, so I flipped the board around and forgot about it.

Bought this as my first real cutting board for my apartment, I went large with the 24” by 18” and I’m super happy. Looks beautiful and feels like great quality. You can see my hand for size reference, which are relatively average adult male, maybe slightly longer and thinner.Pros: Looks good, is huge, is reversible, good heft to it, finish on exterior is near flawlessNone of the cons are super significant, but I’ll mention what I can seeCons: the groove and the convex handles on the side aren't as deep as I expected but this shouldn’t be a problem unless you have very large or thick hands, for me my fingers go about half their first segment into the handles. next it might be a little too large, I’ll be able to make it work but my apartment doesn’t have much counter space so if that applies to you think about going smaller.The only other thing I should mention is my first board delivered with a large splinter or crack in the wood, so I did have to return that, but it was easy and the new board arrived only 2 days later

This is a very good quality cutting board, but I don't cut on it. I use it for making breads and pizza doughs, and it works perfectly for my needs. Cared for properly, this board will last you a very long time . . . even if you use it for cutting fruits, vegetables, or meats. One side has a groove to catch meat juices, the other side is plain. The board is also finished very nicely.

Very large smooth surface. Came preseasoned. Surprisingly light for as large as it is. Looks great sitting on the stove and expands my workable area. Got this one as a replacement for the last of my plastic ones. My old bamboo one will be my raw meat board.
