First and foremost, please do not use this vest with actual ballistic plates. I would not trust this plate carrier for literal plates. Now that that's out of the way, time to talk about why I love this plate carrier for Airsoft. To summarize the review, it's a great-priced carrier that allows incredible amounts of adjustability and customizability. It's a great product that is backed by a 1-year warranty, but even outside of the warranty you could easily replace pieces if/as needed.1) Price: It's impossible to find a decent carrier that has this many features and level of quality at this price point. Definitely feels like I found a hidden bargain.2) Features: The quick-release pulls on the front of the cummerbund and the front of the shoulders are fantastic for quickly getting in and out of the vest. On both sides, the buckles for the detachable panels are enclosed in knit elastic fabric which decreases the likelihood of breaking from BB impacts. You can fully remove the shoulder pads from the front and back, which allows you to easily replace or repair individual pieces if needed. The cummerbund and shoulder pads are adjustable using the velcro. For the cummerbund, which is also completely removable and adjustable, I loosened the elastic tassels and overlapped the velcro sections to get a nice snug fit around my torso. Once this is set one time, you never have to change it. On the cheaper vests, it's so much less convenient since you would have to lift the velcro front to undo the cummerbund and swim out of it. The velcrod padding on the insides of the front and back are nice since they create a channel of air on your middle back which is a super common place for heat to build up while playing airsoft.3) Material: The 1000D Nylon feels so nice compared to cheaper materials used on plate carriers I've used. The color of the nylon is the perfect Ranger Green I was expecting. I feel like cheaper brands can be a hit or miss on whether or not they actually know the difference between OD and RG and this brand nailed it so well.
