When I first started transferring folders to the drive it was going pretty slow. It varied between 10 to 75. But now I'm consistently getting around 400 to 1000, which is fine to me. I didn't expect the listed max speeds.

Those three words say it all. This portable SSD is small, fast, and tough. I've got my Photos library stored on it and backed up to iDrive. All nice and tidy.

Great drive for using with Photoshop or ON1 editors. Very fast and so far very data safe! So small and well protected in its rubber case. Easy to use with iPad and desktop!

I recently purchased this solid start hard drive to upgrade my 2015 IMAC 5K machine. It was taking 4-5 minutes to boot up. In addition, it would take 1-2 minutes to open an application on my mac. I formatted this drive and installed MAC OS and what a difference it made. About a minute to boot up and less than 6 seconds to open applications. $140 is worth the investment rather than buying a whole new machine. Kids love that is much faster and have been playing non-stop!

Good size (and the rubber feel is also great). Fast and reliable, as soon as you use a better usb-c cable (or good luck on having the included one to connect at full speed).
