I thought I’d give this a chance. Box and hair clip were obviously used before. Still wanted to try the curler though bc I was curious about the rotating feature. The curl wasn’t great but that may be technique. However, it pulls out hair and gets caught in the plastic crevice. It’s made very cheaply. I’d be worry about damage. One pro is that it heats up fast but it also takes forever to cool down.

You already know this is a rotating curling iron. Unlike the last one I ordered, this one actually grabs your hair and holds on so that the hair curls, instead of slipping through the clamp. There are various heat settings, an on/off button that needs to be held for a couple seconds, and two directional buttons, depending on which direction you want the curl to go. The iron does the twisting for you.I set this at 200C not knowing how hot that was because it was centigrade. Luckily, I put a cotton washcloth under it, not seeing the heat-proof mat. The 100% cotton washcloth was scorched by the heat of the iron, so use your phone to convert the C to F so you have a better idea of the temperature. Luckily I did not burn anything except the washcloth. I later found the heat mat at the bottom of the box. Use it, as there is no real "kick stand" for this iron. The tip is cool, so you can hold the handle and tip without burning yourself.Now for the SURPRISE! I was looking at the specs on the unit and found that this is an automatic voltage iron, so you can use it worldwide, as long as you have a local plug- NO NEED to use a converter, just a plug like the one in my photo, that costs about $1, if you are buying the euro plug. A little higher for a British plug. This is full size, but no need to carry a converter with this little jewel.I love the ballet-slipper-pink color. The barrel size makes perfect waves and curls for me. And now I know that under 180C works well on my hair.

The curler itself is nice in appearance. It's pretty big in size. I wish it would have been a little smaller in length. The problem for me was that it is very hard to open the part that holds the hair down to hold it to curl it up and while doing that the right and left buttons get in the way and it makes it very hard to curl the hair and kind of dangerous cause you can mistakenly push the wrong button and roll it up to your scalp and that would end up burning you, NOT GOOD cause it gets pretty hot. If you have alot of hair this can be tedious . This was a HUGE NO for me . I think I'd rather just curl my hair manually. I'm sending this back. If you can work with this then kudos to you.

I have always struggled with getting the wavy curls right and this really helps. There is a learning curve on how to hold it but once I figured that out, it was great! I like that the clip to hold the hair is longer other brands, too. Temperature is also in CELSIUS - US friends FYI!! I set mine on 100°.

I have used this twice and really like it. It is a little hard getting used to. It does come with a glove to help you from burning your fingers. It does get pretty hot but you can select how hot you want it to get . I expect I will get better with use.
