I already have a belt removal tool that I keep in one of my Honda vans that cost me more than this one. It is made with a built-in socket (14mm) on one end and another size built-in socket on the other end for Volvos. I bought this less expensive but still well made one to keep in my other Honda van while travelling. Sounds wasteful, but I have had an AC compressor unexpectedly lock up and melt off the belt which left me stranded and I had to be towed into a shop. I actually had an old belt in the back as a spare but no tool. The AC clutch was ok and free turning, and so with the spare belt on and the $500 bill paid, I was on my way again. Now I keep a tool and a spare belt in the back of each van, just in case it ever happens again. This tool allows you to put whatever sized (for your vehicle) 3/8" drive socket you want on it. If you want to use a 1/2" drive socket, you attach the extension (which has the 1/2" drive attachment point). This tool worked well for me to move the belt tensioner and loosen/reinstall the drive (serpentine) belt.
