Description says: Calgon "3-in-1" but the picture shows "4-in-1". Which is correct?Description says: "Water Softener Tablets". Well, I purchased the product to use in my Water Softener Unit that I have in the basement, but there is nowhere to find any info on how to use it for this application (either on the box, in the detailed product description, or on the Calgon website).More likely they should of use the "Water SOFTENING Tablets" for a more accurate (and non-deceiving) English description.For the above reasons, I will take 2 stars off from my product Rating and I will stick in the future to the Lemi Shine powder: less expensive, no chemical smell in the water and with the personal convenience of choosing my own dosage as needed.

We used to bath in this , it’s for hard water and so much more, you can clean out your washer and put it right in with that load of laundry as dishwasher, I put it in my hot tub. Good product back then and it’s still good

Living off well water means a lot of mineral deposits and build up. Having issues with a dryer meant air drying and man, they would dry CRISPY. These tablets are making some minor miracles happen. Not only are the clothes softer and smelling better, the washing machine doesn't get a funky after wash oder like it did before.It is an older top load washer so I do occasionally find some residue from the tablet however I doubt it would be noticeable if the clothes were dried in machine instead of on the clothesline.

I need to add a water softener to my washer, and my grocery store can no longer get Calgon liquid from their supplier. I chose the 3 in 1 tablets to avoid shipping liquids. It works great, but the label was in German.

I know this will sound like a television ad, but this product is simply amazing. We live in an area with very hard well water. Clothes are a new level of clean and brightness using these tablets. Even oily stains disappear. For a while these were unavailable through Amazon. So glad to see them offered again, and in this size package. Somewhat expensive, but worth it.
