Töpfe tun, was sie sollen.

I became interested in this set after discussing the Twin Classic line with several Scandinavian chefs and restaurant suppliers. I hesitated at first because of the negative reviews on Amazon DE, but my curiosity won.Having used them extensively, I give them top marks. I've run comparative tests with similar professional pots from WMF (Profima, Gourmet Plus), Fissler (Profi), and Demeyere (Atlantis), and these Twin Classics are outstanding value for money. Like some other reviewers, I get small white spots when boiling water on high induction settings. When doing identical boiling tests (same amounts of water, starting temperatures, and induction unit), my Fisslers develop the same spots. The WMFs and Demeyeres do not--they have more even and dispersed heating patterns (smaller bubble formation throughout the boiling process). Comparatively, the Zwilling and Fissler pots develop larger, more distinct bubbles over high heat (especially just before hitting the full boiling point), and these in turn result in the calcified white spots. I've found that the spots easily disappear with a little vinegar. All four brands do fine in the dishwasher. With a rinsing aid in the dishwasher, my Zwillings have a beautiful satin lustre. The Zwillings are slightly lighter than the others, but I'm finding this to be a good thing given that they can do the same heavy-duty cooking jobs. I also haven't had any problems with warping, and the stay-cool handles work as well as the others--getting a bit warm at times but rarely too hot to handle. The Zwilling finish is the nicest in my opinion...very pleasant to touch and work with. Despite being quite tough, they feel smoother than the others, and I quite like their rounded lines and shapes. They are simultaneously lovely and strong. I understand that these are not manufactured in Germany, but the welding is mostly top notch. The small saucepan has a couple of inelegant welding points where the long handle joins the holding bracket, but they in no way affect the strength of the weld. The handle welds on the rest of the line are good. I would say that the Demeyere and Fissler pots have the best joins (no welding marks at all), while the WMFs and Zwillings are tied. I also prefer the feel of the long Zwilling saucepan handle over the others. It's just the right width, whereas the Fissler and Demeyere handles are a bit too thin for my hands, especially if I have to hold the saucepans for several minutes. They aren't perfect for everything, but none of these lines are. If you want the best heat distribution, flattest foundations, and most non-stick stainless steel, go for Demeyere. These are also the most expensive (by far). For sheer ruggedness relative to weight, Fissler wins (the choice of the Swedish national cooking team). The WMFs are great all-rounders but rather plain. If you want something to make you smile, give these Zwillings a try. I rarely write such reviews, but I thought I should say something given how happy I am with them relative to the previous negative reviews. Perhaps I was lucky and received a particularly good set...I don't know. But I would certainly buy them again.

Diese Töpfe sind sehr schnell beim kochen. Die Griffe sind gut in der Handhabung sie werden nicht heiß.Der Topf lässt sich gut vom Herd nehmen ohne das man sich die Finger verbrennt.
