This 1/20th scale U-2R was designed for belly landing to be simple to assemble and reduce the wing loading. Wing “Super Pods” are removable and can further reduce the weight. All servos are either mounted on the top of the wings or inside the fuselage to protect control horns from possible damage when landing on grass. Added ZIP file for Fixed Landing Gear STLs (2020-09-15) Updated Manual. Wing1 and Wing2 now have an optional variant with leading edge turbulators, and a "clean wingtip" to reduce tip drag. Added prototype enlarged wing variant which relocates servos to the lower wing surfaces. This variant is not yet tested, but is available for anyone who wants to give it a try.
