So - I have several scopes that I love, but I really want something highly accurate that I can shoot long distance with with maximum precision. Yes, I could go buy an $2000 scope, but I personally don't believe in spending 1/2 of the cost of a rifle on a scope.. So - I saw this and decided to get it. Was NOT even slightly disappointed.Mounted it on my Ruger Precision rifle ( .308 ), and once I had it dialed it, I didn't have any issues. Shot 40 rounds out, and it performed wonderfully. I did buy this for my Howa APR (.308), so - I'll compose more about this once I get it on there. Passes parallax test with flying colors. No wandering reticle! Mounts are solid! Seriously - I was suprised that this came with a one-piece scope mount. Does not have the cheap mounts I've received with other scopes. Solid construction - doesn't feel cheap. Feels solid. I would have no problem taking this out on the field. That being said - I bought this for myself, and no-one gave it to me, so I'm not going to be a jackass and "drop-check" it to see if it holds zero. I like this scope too much. Optically wonderful at around 40 power. /- At full 60x zoom you WILL get chromatic aberrations, but - to be fair I get those with my spotting scope - and 60x zoom is a LOT to ask from a scope. Should keep it at 50x or less for optimal quality. Then again, If you want to get Zeiss glass and spend $4k on a scope - be my guest. For the money - this is MORE than high quality and more than you're going to get with any other scope online at this pricepoint. Oh - and one last thing.. The packaging for this is beautiful. This sucker doesn't come in a box.. Well - I mean, yeah, they SHIP it in a box, but.. This comes with it's own case. I am officially in love and knocks my other favorite ZOS scopes out of the water. I might even replace the ZOS scope with another one of these on my RPR permanently. :) I am extremely impressed with the scope, and will be recommending it to my colleagues. I own several scopes - and some are great, some are ok. I have great expectations of this scope. :)*** I made a quick graphic showing the optical clarity of the scope - which is by far superior to many of my other scopes. Note - at full magnification, the image is fuzzier and chromatic abberation ( purple haze ) is visible, but if you had a playing card mounted on top of that roof - you would be able to see the center of the card and easily pick off pieces of that playing card with the scope.THAT is how good this scope is!

I've owned this for about a year and used it on 2 different rifles -- a Mossberg Patriot 270 and a Howa Model 1500 6.5 Creedmore. It took a bit to learn and get used to but once it's dialed in, holy smokes, it'll shave the fuzz off of a gnat's nuts from 500 meters! Groupings are incredibly tight, too, depending on your rifle of choice. I was able to plink 4 metal silhouettes from about 400 meters to where they were all swinging which caused the target apparatus to fall over. THEN I was able to hit the SIDES of each silhouette from the same distance, which is only about 1/4" in thickness! I'm not much of a shooter but this scope sure makes me look like one

Elevation turret was maxed and still couldn't zero scope. Windage turret did not seem to move reticle. Bottom line: couldn't zero scope at 25 yards. Hence, no evaluation of accuracy. Also, I am not too happy that I had to pay $32.20 to UPS for the box to return it. So much for free shipping! I also spent $20 for a guest pass at the range, wasted $20 worth of ammuntion, and then bought a $70 dollar picatinny rail (that I didn't need) because a gunsmith said that might be the problem (it wasn't.) It shot a foot left at 25 yard; it would take almost 400 clicks to center the group.

Good scope. Great for long range shooting. Been using it with a 7.62x54R chambered rifle. It holds up to the recoil and stays on zero. Can't be beat. Has nice heavy-duty rings with it too and great instructions for those that need them. Comes in a well-padded metal case. All accessories are held in place within the case. Can't beat it.

8/23 I now have 2 of these and like that the illumination buttons are now black with white lettering verses the gawky red and green ones on the earlier release.Turrets are excellent with huge color coded easy to read marks andclicks are crisp and solid. The lift up to turn rotators have aggressive indentation that make adjusting with mittons ( thick gloves ) easy.Clarity degrades after 50x zoom but is managable.focus knob on the unit I recieved is quite stiff without the wheel attachment but some would say that is a good thing, depending.NICE case as always amd came with 2 batteries. Illuminating reticles crisp and clear and adjustible intensity with dedicated levels by pushing the up or down arrow buttons.came with picatinny mount.EYE RELIEF IS AWESUM!YES it is HEAVY and long and even longer with sun shade on. For some people it can make your rifle a chore to hold but will certainly reduce felt recoil.THE BEST THING IS THE COMPANY STANDS BY IT'S LIFETIME WARRANTY REGARDLESS OF OWNER. YOU SIMPLY CALL THE COMPANY IN TEXAS AND THEY IMMEDIATELY SEND YOU A PREPAID SHIPPING LABEL . WOW!
