I have a husky mix who loses a galaxy of hair every 15 minutes. I mean you look at her and can see the hair falling off. After an eye-bleeding amount of research on vacuums for pet hair, this one kept coming up and I thought it was absurd because it looks dinky and the cannister is the size of the milk cartons I got at elementary school lunch. I figured I'd have to empty that every 10 seconds. But a sale came and because it was $150 off, I went for it.PROS:- Super light weight, very maneuverable - can get corners well and under the coffee table; can get the upstairs rooms done easily.- Tons of attachments to meet every need. I love that this converts to a dust buster- It sucks, hard. In all the good ways.- The "boost" setting is very successful with getting my dog's hair gone. It's the only setting I use.- Emptying the cannister is a freaking brilliant design. No gross hands.CONS:- The product's instructions are basically non existent. I mean, come on, aren't pictures worth 1000 words? It's not rocket science, but I'd have benefitted from knowing the intended purpose of the attachments and various mounting pieces.- The "boost" setting does deplete the battery really quickly. However, because this vacuum is easy to use, it's not bothersome to me to do 1 room at a time and allow some recharge*.- The attachment with the "felt" like roller is absolutely useless. Surprising, given the great design of the rest of the machine. The brush works fine on my super fine, 100-year old hardwood floors.- Storage - for the sake of the battery, you're not supposed to store this in a place lower than 60 degrees. This is inconvenient in an old house with limited storage and an uninsulated mudroom.*I did also purchase the Bissell CleanView Bagless Swivel, which I use for my larger carpeted areas. I'm thrilled with that, and what I can do with this duo. If I did those areas with the Dyson I WOULD be emptying the cannister every 10 seconds and the battery would run out with half the room done. My recommendation, wait for the sale, but get this.

I did soooo much research on cordless vacuum cleaners , read so many Amazon reviews, as well as online articles , comparing every vacuum, when all I really wanted was the Dyson, but I just couldn’t justify spending the $500 .. let alone tell the husband 🤣 I finally bit the bullet and splurged and boy, am I glad I did. To be fair, my vacuum before was super basic, so maybe I am not the best judge, but WOW using the Dyson is like driving a Mercedes Benz for the first time. Immediately, I was like okay so THIS is why it’s so expensive. Everything about it is so smooth and seamless. It drives like a dream, so lightweight, maneuvering under tables and turning corners so flawlessly. The little green light magnifying all the invisible dust/debris — total game changer. It’s user friendly, easy to operate, the self emptying cartridge where you don’t have to touch anything, just press the red lever to empty it is another added bonus. I love the little screen that tells you the count of number of different particles it picked up. The suction is excellent and It’s not even noisy! I can still talk on the phone with no problem while I vacuum. The only thing that would make it better is if it had new car smell!! lol! If you are on the fence about buying one of these, don’t be- Just do it! You won’t regret it. Such an exquisite piece of equipment. I love using it so much that it makes me excited to clean the house. Now I feel like I need to try all their products - next is the blow dryer 🤪
