My wife purchased this under her account for me. The case that came with the lens was too wide and not deep enough for the EF to RF converter I needed to keep attached to the lens. I also needed something that would fit into my work sized backpack. I was worried at first it would be too big but it turned out fine. I read another review where the same lens sloshed inside this bag but I don't see how that is possible if you keep the tripod mount on the lens. I put the lens in glass down. I have space for a few soft odds and ends at the top of the cylinder where the lens diameter gets smaller in size. Fits perfectly in my backpack and I now have a great backpack for the lens, my camera and another lens, and some other odds and ends such as camera pieces or personal meds. Saved me the cost of buying a new 300 dollar backpack. Yes, I would most definitely recommend this if you have a large lens you need to safely store and carry.

The XXXXXL (the 5.5" X 14.6” size) JJC Camera Lens Case is just what I was looking for. I was a little disappointed that my Fuji 150-600mm lens came with only a lager fabric lens bag. It would protect against scratches, but not much more. The JJC XXXXXL case fits like it was made for the lens. The case isn't completely cylindrical. There is a somewhat flat area where the top hinges with the body of the case and creates a flat'ish "side". This feature provides a place for the tripod foot to slip into. The padded sides are about 1/2" thick and should provide a fair amount of protection. The case come with a reasonably good shoulder strap, which I might use and a belt loop that I can't imagine using with a heavy lens in the case, although it might be useful to carry the empty case. Two adjustable straps around the circumference of the case might be useful to strap the case to a pack. Overall, I'm very happy with this reasonably priced case.

This is my second JJC case and overall I am impressed with the quality. These cases are a bit bulky, but seem like they will do a good job at protecting the lenses. The XXXL size fits the Nikon Z 70-200 f2.8 well enough but it is definitely a bit snug. With that said, I also have the XXXXXL for my 180-600 and I find that that one is a lot roomier to the point where the lens moves around inside and I had to take up some of the extra space. Granting that these are not designed for any specific lens, I am happy overall.
