So I bought this thinking it was a certain style and it was the wrong style. That is ALL on me but I figured, since I have it, I may as well write a review.First I'll explain why I knocked off 2 stars.Star 1: Mostly due to the fact that I don't feel like I can comment on it being a perfect product. It didn't blow me away and I feel for 5 stars on a product like this, I would need to use it over time. I plan to return it because it is the wrong style so take that how you willStar 2: This one is generally because the thing costs over $30 and the make feels really cheap for the price. The buckle material especially feels like a lightweight cheap metal. Hard to explain but sometimes you can just tell. The rivets around the loop feel pretty solid though, nice and big expansion that should hold solid for a long time. Oddly enough I think my biggest gripe is the size. There are only 5 sized sets of holes punched in and that provides a pretty narrow focus. I could punch/drill my own but it's probably not going to look as nice so who really wants to do that. I bought mine a bit big thinking that "oh that should have a decent range of size for me." Nope. I'm also no expert on leather, but for a belt this size, this one feels....idk, light? I might just be imagining it because of all the other failings that I know for sure but I don't think I would keep this belt even if it was my style. The positives: It's pretty thick width wise, so if that's your thing, go for it. The coloring on the buckle is nice despite the cheaper feeling. Not much to go on but eh.

There are hundreds of belt options on amazon. The belt I am replacing is over 20 years old, and eventually I came across this one, and Im glad I did. It was slightly more expensive than others, but its worth every penny. I use this belt as a work belt, so I wanted at least 1.5 in (this is 1.75) and was hoping the leather itself was thick, and it is. I can tell this belt will last me a very long time. My ONLY downside, which I know I need to wait and see how it wears, it the length. Every belt I own is a "36" so I bought this belt in a 36, and it is just a tiny bit small. I held it up to my other belts and the holes are just slightly shorter than the others. I am pretty sure this belt will stretch slightly with use, so Im not worried about it. It does have a VERY strong leather smell, which I love. What do you expect from new leather? I will probably buy another of these belts in a different color when Im done writing this review. I got the dark brown and its exactly what the pic looks like. Buy this belt.

This heavy-duty belt is the “real thing,” a 100% thick leather belt that’s true to size and is 1.75 inches wide, ideal for the belt loops in jeans. Unlike some other brands, this belt has only enough double-row holes to allow the wearer to find a comfortable fit without weakening the rest of the belt, which ones with double-row holes for the full length of the belt tend to do. An important plus about this belt is the design of the buckle, which has a dark rather than bright finish and is attached to the belt by four large rivets that hold the two prongs and the leather loop securely in place. With this belt, it’s important to order one that fits your waist size exactly. Otherwise, you’ll have an overly long belt.

Image - Old different manuf. on left . . . New Logical manuf. on right.Pro - The leather is thick, heavy duty, a full 1//2" width - (slightly more) 42mm width ( most manufacturers go slightly less 36mm ), fills in the standard loop in pants better. The buckle nicely riveted in place /_ depends on preference vs being sewed in place. I believe rivets are stronger, more durable but difficult to repair when/if go bad when poorly set. They did a nice job setting these.Con - The reason for my purchase of these was the double hole buckle. Unfortunately, Logical only punched holes 8" into belt instead of entire belt. Just a note: This is the first time I have ever seen a double hole belt that was NOT punched the entire belt and not centered ( image attached ). The partial hole punching should have been mentioned and shown in product description. Image of unrolled belt. That was my only changeable "con" so I have decided to keep the belt and order a leather punch to try my hand at finishing the job by punching the remaining holes myself. Like I mentioned in Pro - this belt leather is of better quality than I have been able to find in the past so it might be worth the extra work. NOTE TO LOGICAL: Punch double hole belts entire length, looks better and will fit a wider range of waists. And punch them straight/centered! OR show image making it obvious the belt is only partially punched.

Sturdy, thick and wide. Needed size 34, ordered based on size description (size 36 (fits 34) - or something like that) and fits dead center of the five options for buckle placement. Smells like new leather. Feels good
